Where is the knowledge we lost with information?

Maybe you could just have a group of people do it. Like Mauti, Bondo, and other active forum members could decide who would be granted access to the forum. Or it could be like a member is nominated for Example Silent killer, then all the members of the private forum votes if he is allowed in or not.

I think it should be picked by hand so that way no noobs are in there. taking care of that can leave alot less spam and off topic bs...

Well, personaly I dislike the whole idea, I know that I won't be included in this since I am not well liked on these boards. It's hard to decide who belongs there etc. I think that the solution is not to create a new forum for selective members, I think that the solution is to clean up the GG so that everyone can enjoy it there. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, but when we try to clean them up by locking we get asked why we did it by people like Viper.

I think the primary consideration for who gets chosen is what Mauti can do, or what is the easiest for him to set up.

Typhy, I don't think we'd rule you out so quickly.

I believe Alaric mentioned as an idea in the GG thread that we allow everyone in and then revoke membership.

I thought that seemed like a good idea - everyone gets a start, and membership is very easily revoked.  And I would think only Mauti would be allowed to do the revoking.

Me thinks alot of people like me who rarely post would miss out on such a thing. (Not that I really care.)
I guess people like me just don't have an opinion on enough things.

I think to let all in is a bad idea.At all this forum part should improve the quality of the GG. We start threads here make value answers and statments and then we move it to the GG so all the newbs can read good answers and may also response better. Thats the reason why I would like to have this small.

Bye,

Mauti
