yes, of the 9 clans picked, the final two picked, 8 and 9 would have to play the play-in round.

Round 2[/u] Round 1 was completed on Sunday, May 22. So you can begin Round 2 today, May 23.

Round 2: Monday, May 23 - Saturday, May 27
5. cO. vs. z][t
6. [a] vs. =US=

Finals: Sunday, May 28 (time will be decided by the admins to best fit each clan)
Winner (5) vs. Winner (6)

Edit: All clans in round 2 agreed that finals can be played on Sunday to give us Saturday to finish round 2.  This is due to, once again, US vs. euro/australian/new zeland time issues.
