Hex Editer and goggles

I have posted in previous forums questions cocerning the AXE Hex Editer for Rogue Spear to make the goggles transparent, but, my question now is, how the HECK, do I use that thing- by the way, please send the link to download it if you know it.

You can't create transparency with a HEX editor in RS that I know of... but you can edit the crp files to make them use your new textures. To do this, open up the crp files and look thru the entire file for any reference to a texture, then rename it with your replacement. DO NOT rename the camo_head.rsb or des_head.rsb files or the game will not display the operative's face, only the face of the texture that you replaced it wth. It's a little hard to explain without pics, take a look at ENDI's tutorials..
