Black Hawk Down Mod

I'd second VooDoo's sugestion that you all get this mod, it's great, one problem that I noticed as I got with Black Thorn Full, one of the maps ( The assassination one on Terrorist Hunt ) won't load up, I click "Start" so start the terrorist hunt, it loads, but when it gets to one of the things that it should be loading for the planning phase, it will just stop loading and force you to force restart, I know I did a poor just of explaining this... But it's kinda hard to explain, anyone else had this problem?

mod is great... one problem with the very last coop level, where you have to escort the wounded rangers... everytime i tried to play that level with friends... the app quits on all of them, but me.

ya, I had the same problem and so did Py. As soon as I would click
on the map I would crash and it would send everyone back to gr. I didnt
know what it was untill I tried to load it the second time and it did the
same thing. I didnt have to reboot though, and I crashed before it had
anytime to load.

I'll look at both problems asap. Btw did you only experience the coop problem in the relating sp mission as well?

  Mauti i have a problem when i try and play SP, i go to the campaign screen and i try and pick "black hawk down". when i do it just quits on me....   anyone else having this problem?

Snake....try backing up and deleting all Saved Campaigns in your RS/UO/CO/Classic folders (look in the SAVE folders in all the retail campaign folders).

there is a bug in RS (windows version anyway) that causes user modded campaigns to crash if there are existing saved campaigns.

Mauti - I can get lung to reformat the map with the same texture (but shorter name) if you want to fix the texture 'bug'.

sorry, can't help the rest with the missions bug cause it doesnt happen with the pc version.

Akira that would be great - its the BHD4 map: one ceiling texture name is longer than 32signs. About the missions:

The problem the company which ported Rogue Spear for Mac didn't port all viccondition codes so some missions crash. I am working on that a patch should be out tomorrow.

Snake I don't have any problems with the single player campaign and I had already saved games in my save folder but try what Akira wrote.

BTW Akira your BHD5 mission is damn hard: The hostages get killed to fast in my opinion. Even when I stay at the start point after 1min the hostages get killed. That's a little bit unfair however BHD is one of the most addicting mods I ever played.

Guys, I just have to say, this is possibly the greatest mod made in many many many months!! I love it!! Cool weaps, just not enough sniper rifles. meh, nothing's perfect.

No just finished the mod on veteran level. The third(catch the 2 advisors) and the 5th mission(have beat it only with teamshadow *shameonme*) were the hardest missions.

Aieee! I can play the training (although the assassination thing doesn't work?"loads" forever). But when I try to join a BHD game on GameRanger, it says exactly this: "The server is running modifications to the game that your computer does not have installed."

Huh??? I can join a regular RS game, but not a BHD game. All I have in my mods folder is Urban Ops, Classical Missions, and BHD. Argh! I do have some server side maps in my missions folder tho???

gw Oso - none of the mod makers have ever completed the campaign

if you got replay files of your successful campaign, send it to us to post for all to see..altho i'm not sure if those files need any conversion for windows.

I also play BHD on single player and in the Terrorist Hunt >Assassinate that guy with the name begining with an A< mission it stalls on loading(at "established") after the planning phase. Repeatable every time.

Otherwise a really great(!) addition to RS. Thanks guys!!

Notice in one mission in terrorist hunt that the sleeves of the mountain uniform were missing their texture maps on each team member (sp play) I will try to see of I can duplicate the incident and post here if I am successful.

Here's my stupid little problem...on the mission where you have to escort the 2 wounded soldiers... I can't seem to win. What exactly are the victory conditions? I've got both soldiers, and my teams inside the end point box, but nothing goes.

You also have to kill all militia in this mission.

Mauti - the reason why the BHD patch isnt still out is because I want to wait until Lungbutter reexports one map with shorter texture names.

   When I played the rescue the rangers mission (can't remember the mission name), I didn't have an extraction zone to take them to. The only way I was able to win was to proceed to killing all terrorists. That included using the nade launcher and nading the hummer.
 
   Another issue I've found is that for some reason on the market map mission in SP, my team had no texture map on them. They were all white.
   Also I experience the same problem with the custom mission Assassinate what-his-name hanging at established.

  Aside from these issues, I'd like to thank the team at @War for a great mod.

About the texture problems I only saw these probs at some mp games but never in sp but I'll try out all camos.
