Damn.

I can't believe all this. i just woke up and decided to visit our good r6 world here. when i noticed the intro condolence i thought: man what a stupid joke. but unfornantely it was none (!!!) I was sure when i finally get my new g4 Grifter would be there to whoop my ass in RS.

All i can say at this point is: Grifter, u where a kool online comrade for me even when we had some harsh discussions here, from time to time. Thanks for all your help as moderator and resident ass (sometimes) and for your significant online presence here at the DAMN community. I am still too surprised and shocked about these unexpected sad news to find the right words here ... My best wishes to Danielle and Grifts Familee. I will turn off my comp now and dedicate the only moslemic prayer i can do, to Grifter. Allah be with u. See you "later" Grifter.

...I am pretty much speechless right now. I just found out a few hours ago, and I still don't know what to say. Grifter was one of the most generous guys I've ever met, online or offline. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be missed. One last "m00t" for el Grifter-o..

Grift, knowing you online makes me wish that I could have known you offline. You were a great friend and though I didn't have the pleasure of ever getting to see you face to face, it's evident that you were a great man, friend, father, and husband.

as we go through some things for danielle, i found one that was quite moving and fitting.  i'm going to suggest to his father that it be written on his tombstone.  it was written by the hand of grifter himself, and i think is one of the best ways to sum up my friend.

for those of you who would like to know him better then you did, i've posted it on his site.

I really didn't know much about him, but the other GR players always said what a great player he was, but also more importantly what a great guy he was.  It's always sad when someone dies even if you only talked to them once or didnt know them at all.  My sympathy goes out the the family and friends of Grifter, I am truley sorry for your loss. God bless you all and our prayers are with you.

My prayers are with Grifts family - we cant help him anymore, but hes family would need some help in any case.

I didnt know him very well, but he seemed to be very nice man, well educated and not arrogant. Its a lost for all, esp. for his family.

Other than peripherally through this forum, I never knew Grifter. Reading the words of those who did know him, I wish I had. He was a man, in the best sense of the word. I hope that I can become even a tenth of what he was. I haven't cried in years, but I'm in tears now over the death of a stranger whom I miss dearly.

    Rest in peace, noble soul.

SHIT GRIFTER, why'd you have to go and die for? I don't think this could have happened to a better person, especially in the GR RS community.  In the midst of assholes and n00bs, you kept your cool and will always be the leetest guy ever.
