Some units do, but generally not the special forces types.

Your mod looks amazing and im looking forward to it
however NO israeli units wear unit insignia on their combat gear speaking  from experience
the only way to differentiate between the different infantry battalions (paras, golany....) is the beret colour and the fact that the paras have brownish red boots.

Here is the dilema...I think we should have shoulder patches, but are we sacrificing accuracy? Maybe a compromise would be to make the patches subdued.

Hmm, well you could include a type of dossier text or html file with the mod that goes into alittle detail of the units if you decide to not include armpatches.

Well, if we find out that IDF units do not wear them I still like the idea of having them.

Some of the units/skins will have 'em, the ones that EVER use them, but units like Matkal and Shayetet13 never use em so they will be "sterile". There are some interesting patches there!

btw the black strips on their quick dry jumpsuits are velcro strips where they attach equipment rather than in a backpack or webbing

haha that's exactly what I thought... Those are some high tech suits, that's why so far I've done 2 of em Wink I also completed a Unit YAMAM (dark grey bdu's, black vest, green/black helmet) and a Sayeret T'ZASAM (tan, green, green'blk), pics are coming.
