When the bottom inch of the ghr screen cannot be seen on the monitor?  Like it "drops" down too far?  I can't read my name but can see my body position.  Only the upper half of the TI appears, etc...

I moved my computer recently and I can't get the full screen back.. I've been through all the geometry, etc in system prefs. ...it must be something else.

Have you tried adjusting the monitor's settings using the monitor's controls? Sounds like your screen is set too large in the vertical dimension.

Well, G4 monitor you must be talking about the Active matrix display monitors.  Man I love those things.  Wish I had one, anyway, there should be settings for the display of those monitors somewhere on the monitor itself.  Granted I am not too familiar with those style monitors but I must say that every monitor that I have come across has had that ability to adjust the horizontal and vertical edges.  anyway if you are not sure where that might be then just refer to the instructions that came with the monitor since all new monitors come with instructions on how to set it. =)

Well I can say for a fact that the G4 Imac monitor doesnt have any damn buttons.  The only way to configure this baby is through the prefs panel.  And by the way the manual is the worst manual I have ever seen,  It doesnt give you any good info about the comp.
