well it's really no surprise that america competes well, it's such a huge, diverse country. if the players started representing their true decents though, i'm sure there'd be less US medals Wink. BFG, i was surprised that GB didn't throw any boxers in, or a second string footy team. that's definately 2 events that they chose not to bother with for some reason, normally we'd be tearing it up.

Yeah i know bronto Sad ... although we have got a lightweight boxer who's in the comp and is really turning some heads... he's only 17 and he is bloody awsome - try and catch one of his fights as the kid has some awsome talent (and a brilliant accent Wink  )

The whole football thing is daft... but Wales and Scotland don't want to do it probably because we would just nick Giggs and keane from wales and perhaps one or two from scotland... i dunno the football in the olympics never seems to be so seriouse as everyone prefers the WC.

... and just to pretend im on topic - Listening to a lot of "Thievery Corporation" - some fantastic chilled out tunes Cheesy

yeah, but 20 bucks says our second string team would pwn all other second string teams Smiley.  one thing i noticed that really wants to make me puke is fucking argentinian seconds stringers are just as dirty as the national team. those bastards make me sick, they don't even play football, they play "trick the ref". disgusting dirty scumbag cheaters don't even know how to play the game. i got a list of those teams, and you know what? they're all latino type countries. italy is pretty grimey too. i really hate that, the refs should start enforcing some kind of red card rule against that kind of shit. i saw some stupid argentinian bastard run at the costa rican man who had the ball, turn backwards while running and slam into him with his back, then he proceeded to roll around on the ground clutching his head, even though slo-mo shows that he didn't even hit his head on anything, not even the ground. most rediculous puke sack shit ever. had to get that out.

Yay for Tool. Just wish they would have put more effort in their music. Some shit is really good and the rest of the shit is just shit... Most of "Undertow" sounds like a well-recorded live performance of improvised tracks.

... if you play "tranz" ferdinand once, you've played it one to many times.

I am a HUGE interpol fan, and of course have listened to both albums and all their EPs and a boat load of bootlegs.

Leif Erikson is a fave from the first album.

Have seen them in concert 7 times and even caught a drumstick at their last show with the Cure!

A Japanese performance group by the name of I've. If you don't mind foreign-language music, they're worth checking out. Something like a dozen artists working independently and publishing albums collectively, so their music has a wide variety of styles.
