What's going on with the mod currently anyway. I know the burden is now on Coco's shoulders which translates into a huge workload. It's now been quite awhile since a main page update too.

I know that he has several scriptors working on Maps and Missions, but I think that the majority of the models/characters are done.

Although an update to the main page would be nice, maybe I'll volunteer to be the update guy? Earn my stripes? I know he likes to do all that himself though. "Mr. please I'd rather do it myself"

Ok, thanks for the mini-update WM. Just wanted to know the details of what was going on at the moment.    Smiley

As for the M60 it's really had to explain without knowing the specifics of the terminology about the weapons parts. I'll do this instead.







After looking at pics of the various models I see what it was you modeled I just think the barrel and attendant parts are alittle out of proportion. The triggerguard is fine though, I was mistaken. I'm sorry to give you such a hard time. I know you hate the weapon so I respect your efforts that much more. It's gotta be difficult to get these details right as none of us has ever utilized the weapons at all.

Hey dont get me wrong buddy. Im not busting your hump, lol. I see what your saying, I usually extrude a little more than I should possibly. I like a beefy looking weapon, hehe. Its really not the gun itself I hate, its the ammo I can never seem to make look right.

The trigger guard is too large and too square, you were correct. The pic I used to make the model was shot from the left side so the trigger guard wasnt showing. I kinda made it myself, without looking at other pics, lol. The barrel is obviously too thin as well. I like the pic you posted, Ill try that one and see if I can get closer.

Orge is also correct, the ammo box is too thin and too long. Looks strange looking at it now. Ill see what I can do with that pic, later bud.

Thatguy96 came across this weapon

Its the OA-SPR rifle from Oberlandarms. Apparently its an SPR clone.
Might be good for reference, as most shots of the SPR are crappy.

I know that there is a good shot that Cobra6 has of the SPR (if it's not, it sure looks darn similar), maybe he'll post or allow it to be posted.

You guys all know how secretive these guys are about their stuff.  Roll Eyes

Also for anyone who wants a heads up, don't play Raven Shield online against Mac on the Streets Map, I think we ended up last night, DTDWardenMac - 27 Whisper_44 - 0, he holds an unfair home court advantage.  Sad [All this with a ping of like 250-300] it was highly frustrating to say the least.

That front sight post is still obscuring the view though it does look a ton better with the Acog. Hopefully Nishi will use the M68 CCO he's got on that M1 to replace all his previous Aimpoint models. It looks a lot bettewr than his original.
