I don't think there are any units in the mod that utilize the MG3. The FN MAG is another story though...

I grabbed a few pics of the m60. We have a m249 and stoner LMG taced out already. Lets not forget the theme here. Ill whip one up and we can see if it makes final cut.

I firmly retract my earier statement, as we speak, Mac is working hard on the M-60 (In between rounds of kicking my butt in MP) Grin Grin Grin If we all send him warm and fuzzies he might just like it when he is done.

I did this for the community mod. Stalker wanted a ammo box. I dont like it due to the fact the ammo on the left side does not line up with the feed port or ejection port on the weapon.

That's not bad, The box seems a little tall though. I'd still use it.
A couple of other modders have used belts instead of boxes.
The big reason people like boxes is because it doesn't look odd to blaze away for a couple hundred rounds with a box, while it does with a short belt.
With the quality you pump out, people aren't going to care either way.
Noticed you put the holster/sling point helper on that model

Between you guys, Nishi, Earl, and Projectile my personal combo mod is approaching 200mb! I love it! Grin

Well the reason why it doesn't line up is because the ammo box mounts on the left side of the weapon on the ammo can hanger. Also there's a protrusion on the end of that tube (not sure if it's a gas tube or guide rod, etc) that shouldn't be there. Also the barrel should be alittle thicker and the triggerguard alittle less boxy.

If you fix up those little things it'll be awesome. The sight rail over the top cover of the receiver would be outstainding too. If you need, go to http://www.m60central.com/index.htm and look at the pics for perspective, as I said.

Thanks a lot Mac. I know you hate the weapon but the SEALs in the mod wouldn't be the same without the MK43 Mod 0.

Yeah I saw Nishi's model earlier today. The aimpoint is really in a bad spot as it's obstructed by the front sight post. Kinda funny lookin.  Cheesy Other than that it is a great, albeit high poly model.

Nishi's also made two great models for Wildcat's Spec. Ops. skins mod, the XM177E2 and XM23 aka Stoner 63.

I knew about the box sc, I told stalker that. I redid it for this mod with jsut the belt. Should come out okay.

Nishi's model is damn good. Guys got skills
 His 60 is nice too.

I'm surprised Nishi went with the aimpoint. The Acog looks better.
He's put aimpoints on alot of his models, I guess he's used to 'em.

He uses that same scope for alot of his weps, its a nice texture but always too small in my opinion. Still a great model

as far the holster point goes, Earl at baconbomb.com has a great tool for these points. Makes it easier.
