Dear BattleLeague

We have tried to go over this sad and frustrating situation the C-clan has presented to us, and all other serious clans of Season 5.
And when I say "tried to go over" i mean it. We stayed online and rdy to CB for 3 stiff hours. We asked - in public as well as private - for C-clan to come to their senses and CB.
And I want to stress that there is NO underlying big issue, that prevents CoreClan from CB.
There is NO personal or clan-wise matter, that blocks our will to CB.
On the contrary ? the more stunts like this we see ? the more it makes us willing to kill a clan in CB.


We have analyzed...
We have tried to pretend we were the C-clan and see what we would have done ourselves..
We have discussed several scenarios of what could be done, at this point.
and bla bla bla bla

But basically - when you cut the fat - we each time ended up with just one word that describes our feelings:

PUSSY !!!

We cant help that C-clan pulls out and doesnt even wanna get back to the CB-table, when asked and asked.

We cant help that C-clan - in every possible sense you can put into the word - goes FLAMING towards a single person here on DAMN.

We cant help that the C-clan and N-clan mb are a bit biased by their dreams of their own fantastic league, to replace DAMN-ladder, and somehow involve us as an excuse to fuck up the season.

BUT

What we CAN do, is to look back on a season with the most CB?s done ever.
When we check all clan-comments to the CB?s we done so far, we see a lot of smileys
that reminds us of funny moments, with many a clan here on DAMN.
All the efforts from all those ppl here on DAMN should not strand like this.

We can look back on some finals with some very intense cb?s.
In fact - no matter that both we and they prolly think the other clan consists of assholes - the most serious CB?s we have done so far, have been with the SL-clan.
We now kinda consider those CB?s as the final-CB ourselves. They derserve it.

And the most happy moments in CB?s we have had was with the BTs clan.
Great games - and great spirit. Scheduling probs ? no way.

And all the cosy moments with the smaller clans, and all the hopes and strategies - all the intense gaming and the good laughs.

And the flexibility on DAMN ? combined with the year-long know-how of when and when-not to let go - has and will always have our full support.

And we have already once beaten up the C-clan in the open season.
And god knows we tried to give them a possible revenge in open season, and CB them again.

ON THAT NOTE...

and for the sake of the many ppl involved in the season 5, we now officially accept the fact that C-clan is pulling out, and hope this can be ended with just a little honor left, instead of whole BattleLeague breaking down.

Of course we are frustrated by the forfeits from C-clan - who isnt ?
Its the cheapest two 6-0 we ever had.
Only way we can make the forfeits making sense, is to look back upon a season where we ourselves never pulled out of a CB.

But the winner-title is not limited to the one and only final CB`ing - it covers a whole season of CBs, like mentioned.

Now its also possible for admins to announce the rightful number 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 (and again; a hand to SL clan for toughest CBs of the season).

Basically - its possible for all to get the Season ended. Within time +  within at least some respect for all the other clans on ladder.

Dutchman, the point of the matter is that once again Flies tried to turn everything upside down, and left to right as he would say.  Next tim you respond to something Flies, try to control your obvious arrogance.  Post the facts and nothing else.  I've seen your negotiation with Splinter, and while I will obviously be called biased, you did try to blackmail us.  Splinter said we would probably get at least five on but NEVER in the entire conversation did he make a guarantee.  Yet you would have the whole thing made void if we didn't get five people on.  This is the reason people will not deal with you.  You come out and post in public how the core clan is receiving this huge injustice and try to win over the communities support.  You would make a great politician. Unfortunately for you many people here see through the bull.  And for the record.  The Collective had at least 6 members on that entire afternoon during the apointed time.  This was not an issue of lack of participation.

Well i would like to say congrats to the core clan. We always had brilliant cb's and really good games. Like most of our cb's played. (even the SL games were good).

About this new ladder/league i have posted my opinions already on the N forum and i still believe that this is a bad idea.

Apart from the c|-issue I think this was a great season.
Lot's of active clans, lot's of cb's, lot's of ordinary fun games.

I also believe the adjustments of the rules for this season worked well. Especially the Warzone mod is an excellent prove that the *DAMN-staff is listening to the people on the battlefield.

A salute to Mauti, Elan and the rest of the "staff" for giving the community this league.
I hope to participate in many more seasons.

a sincere congratulations to the core clan on a very impressive season.  anyone who thinks your championship "tainted" is not giving you the credit you deserve.

onwig, neither splinter nor any other c| member is trying to convince anyone to leave the *damn league.  our decision to forsake the finals match was completely unrelated to any arguments for or against the *damn ladder.

I am disgusted with this thread and the conduct of certain people. I sincerely hope the break will straighten some people out and give them time to think about the next season and Season 5.

I try to make this a short final statement.

I have talked with both sides,  but obviously the differences were too big to settle this so my only hope is that eventually things will calm down.

I won't repost any details I have about the issue between c| and ! I only want to add that neither c| or ! are angels. Flaming is senseless because as usual both sides are responsible for the outcome we have here.

c| aren't pussies as well as Core would prefer to win this season in a nice final final battle instead of seeing c| withdrawing.

But some impolite finished chats, posts that didn't show the full picture, hurt honor, in combination with some old issues in mind led to this withdraw. While some hot points have been fullfilled to get this cb going in the very last minute the other clan already have given up because the chance to have a fun cb was gone.

May some apologies and straight answers would have saved season 5's final final battle but I don't wonder how it ended.

Sometimes you have to solve private issues first before you can talk about to set up a clanbattle.

Communication between each other is the most important things and in this issue the communication totaly failed. Often it is the easiest way to say straight what you find annoying and what disturbs you, at least this saved few of my relationships

Beside that c| and Core showed a great performance this season as all other finalists did. Congratulations.

The Combat Point System worked very well, only smaller things need to be changed, like we have already fixed the points for the  RS ladder during the season so it shows Ace leading but more info about season 6 in the BL news very soon.

Over 500cbs were played this season and that are over 100 more than in season 4 in only half the time.

Regards and may c| and ! try to settle this in a private chat or email explaining their decisions and points of view independent from the BL so we all can look into an exciting relaxing and unencumbered future.

Plz don't reanimate the probs Acri, we are looking forward now. I hope you do the same. Let's focus on season 6 and try to work on the mistakes we all made.
