So BF2142 has come to the Mac.  Intel only.  Pretty dumb.

From the reviews there, it seems like it runs pretty crappy natively in MAC OS.  If you really want to play the game, and have an Intel Mac, I suggest you run it through Bootcamp.  Ran great for me.

Pretty fun game...especially if you liked BF1942.  If you liked BF1942, you'll love BF2 & 2142.

I think I asked this question before but never got a response...

Can Mac 2142 players play on a 2142 PC server?  I have this game for PC and would like to play it with GR people if possible.  If so, the mac players with 2142 should list the servers they play in and I would be happy to join up from the PC side.

Later all,

mesa

I'm don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to.  It would be a terrible fault in design.  BF1942 allowed Mac PPC players to join PC servers, so it really shouldn't be a problem.  Anyone who has it should post their usernames for bf2142, and see if a PC'er can add a Mac'r to their in game buddy list.

Mesa what's your username in BF2142?  Mine is Cell420.

Yeah heard the same about BF2142 BUt take a LOOk at this:

http://www.armedassault.com/

Reviews are that this games beats the hell of all others. I think it takes place in a 100 square mile map.

Sad thing, it only runs on windows.

Also, sad to see these forums dying. Im playing AA 2.5, if anyone remembers me and want to play together (like old times) look me up.

Armed Assault is more of a tac sim than any of the other games.  Yes large...way larger maps...slower games.  Graphics are ok...nothing great.  Lots of moving without action...but tac simmish...so if you like that..you will like ArmA.
