Ubi just released a free downloadable expansion for Raven shield. It is the second expansion to RvS and was made available for free by Ubi as a thank you to the community. I seriously doubt that this will be ported to Mac but it is free and could probably be ported by the Mac community sort of like Island Thunder was for Ghost Recon. Im not the one to do it but maybe someone could look into this and find out all the legalitys for doing something like this. I know there are some of you out there that could port this to Mac.

Quote
o show its appreciation for the Rainbow Six community, Ubisoft has announced free downloads of a brand new, previously unreleased Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six PC game, called Iron Wrath. Available exclusively through GameSpy.com (link TBD), Iron Wrath is the second mission pack to the popular Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield PC game.
A recent closed beta test with TeamWarFare.com’s Raven Shield admin team, resulted in the following conclusions from the Beta Team:

Very nicely done. This expansion pack has made leaps and bounds over Athena Sword, and will be a breath of fresh air to an increasingly bored RVS community. The maps are great and perfect for competition play due to their size and depth. While the new weapons don’t add much to the overall pack, the maps and new and creative game types definitely do. TeamWarfare is very pleased with this expansion pack, and looks forward for the retail version so we can add ~5 new ladders to our Raven Shield lineup.
Thank you for the opportunity to test this expansion pack out. We now have a good feel for the new changes, and will anxiously await the release. I hope our feedback has been helpful.

Well thats that then, i really can't imagine Aspyr updating it, its not like the patches are needed to retain cross platform compatibility for MP games (like halo or somthing) ...

Nah they probably wont in a hurry (if at all). Apart from Iron Wrath support theres not really anything of great importance in it:

===============================================
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield v1.60 (Build 412)
===============================================

* Enhanced support for Iron Wrath and future mission packs.

* Vote Next Map
It is now possible for a player to propose a change of map by using the new command line VoteNextMap command. Players vote using F3. If more than half of the players vote YES, the servers will automatically change map.

* New Reticules
Reticules without a First person weapon are similar to those used in Rogue Spear. Reason is that it should've been always like this.

* Improvements to the Automated Patching System
New skin makes it easier to locate information.
Better routing and selection of download server.

* ESRB Notice
New notice added before connecting to a multiplayer game. This was done to conform to the ESRB rules. The message is only displayed in North America.

* Restriction Kit
Fixed a problem preventing individual selection of restriction kits in some circumstances.

* Fixed Crash
Fixed a crash that occured occasionally at the end of a coop multiplayer game, after a mission was completed.
