I have no problem joining a game but once it starts a few seconds into it the screen goes crazy on me and a huge power button logo comes up and in 4 different languages it tells me that i must restat the computer!  I have reinstalled GhR, tried without mods, updated all secuturity updates and upgraded from 10.3.6 to 10.3.9...don't know what else to do...any suggestions?

Well, it is a kernal panic. I don't know what's causing it, but you should post specs, and/or call Apple.

I wouldn't do any do-it-yourself stuff yet. This early in it's life, just call Applecare (all info found in manual).

Actually, what I would do is run "Repair Disk Permissions"(applications/utilities/diskutility) at least twice. Run it 2 times in a row. Then go from there.

I'll bet half a Canadian Cent, that Apple will tell you to go talk to aspyr if permission repair doesn't work. Then Aspyr tells you that it's hardware, so Apple will have to handle it. It happens so often, in the end Apple will probably tell you to take it to the closest Apple Store or authorized Reseller for analysis.

Did you recently download any mods? If so deactivate it and delete it. If that doesnt work reinstall Ghr and make sure to trash any pref file related to it.

yeah, wipe any reference to GHR from your HD, mods, updates, pref files, EVERYTHING. Then repair disk permissions again! (sorry hehe) and Zap your PRAM  ... then and only then try doing a clean install of GhR from your installer CD -  but don't add any mods or anything just try and run the clean game.

btw... you didn't mention what system are you running? IM assuming its 10.3 .somthing?

Did you try running the game in a different resolution?
I heard some rumors about crashes caused by non standard screen resolutions.

If that doesn't work, could you specify where you did your ghost recon install?
Are you the admin on the computer or do you play under another account?
