help with converting

i was converting DE_Aztec and removed all the line feed things, it showed up on the mods list and i could enable it, but when i try to go back to the main menu, it just freezes on me and i have to restart

does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?
plz tell me if you do

It could be a couple of things - but the first question is whether you followed the exact instructions mentioned in an earlier post - there are some files it is very important you DON'T strip the line feeds from - basically, everything in the map folder EXCEPT the .stp and .ass files.

Also, have you downloaded the latest version of the map? The first one was very buggy for me.

If you've done the conversion properly, then the map could well be needing more RAM or having a fit due to too many other mods in your mod folder.  Try throwing out your preferences file, too. I have no idea why this works, but sometimes it helps.

If all else fails, email me and I can send you a version which works on my computer...

Or better yet, someone in *DAMN can get permission from the author and then we could post it. Hint - Hint.
