yeah i recently switched pickups too. some lean towards different sounds, but duncans are pretty much the standard no matter what, i don't think you could go wrong.

Schecter C-1 Elite here with 'duncan designened" (read...HAXXORED) pickups which are ok, but a tad muddy..along with a 100 watt Marshall 250Dfx 2x12...sure, Id rather have tubes, but o well...

Im a fan of the higher end sound, and pickups that are a little more responsive, so im hunting a strat for the blues, but for metal the C1 works fine.

The schecter elite Series is the fasted actioned guitar ive ever played, and with new pickups its easily the most undervalued guitar on the market.

boss Metal Zone-mt2 pedal, and crybaby wah, Ibanez equalizer and Line 6Pod..so-so distortion, but some nice cleans with decent amp emulation for the price. (i set mine to 2x10)
Works SUPER with Garage band, and GB's built in preamp, so no peaking whatsoever.

The jam pack series has some GREAT drum sets for your basic tracking, and a nice lead in click track...as far as BASIC recording shit goes...works fine.

Either of you guys have any samples of your stuff for trade?
