The admin team is currently in the middle of re-writing the *DBL Rules for Season XI.  We would encourage everyone to get with your clan leader and discuss ideas for changes to the Battle League rules.  We are requesting that only Clan Leaders post in this thread.

In addition to GhostSniper's post - we are looking especially for possibilities to reduce the pages of total rules again and get rid of unnecessary rule parts.

I've pretty much finished fixing all the small grammatical and spelling errors in the rules, as well as parts of the rules that are redundant (same rule listed more than once).  I would really appreciate it if the clan leaders would make any suggestions they have as soon as possible.

Thanks,

ghost... your "full sensor hack" is a maptexture hack, nothing else. it does not show the enemy on the map all the time, it depends on the map and its textures. therefore it can be seen easily in a cheattest, the opponent doesn't have to be far away. don't worry, ghost, we're covered.

and about using finder SS's with Apple+Shift+3 in the cheattest... sure, you get the same result as with the default GhR SS button, it just gets saved in a different location.

the screenshots actually look better from GhR... I've found, plus I'm not going to change my map key just so I can take screenshots for cheat tests. Stick with the GhR screenshots.

" The battle-season consists of two elements: the open season and the finals.

In finals the clans have to play at specific time, given by the admins. For the time being its done during a weekend. Clans that are not able to participate at the default time, can choose to play their cb up front,
if agreed and done by both clans. The cb will then have to take place without any certainty that admins will be present to sort out any issues / questions.

In open season clans arrange all CBīs by themselves.
For all those clans that have the intention of cb-ing each other, but for whatever reason cant find the time or day to get the cb going, the *DBL offers some default cb-hours during the week. At these hours there will always be at least two admins present, and an official *DBL chat-room will be up, for sorting out.
These default hours are same as the in the finals. "

................

Should the idea of default CB-hours during open season be a success, I also suggest that one more "default hour" would be invented ...for example midweek ( Wednesday).
That also depends of course if its possible to find admins for this.

Best regards

i have a question about rvs rules. is it possible to restrict hicaps for cbs cuz at the moment every1 is resticting hicaps and there are a few good reasons, so it would b cool if hicaps would be restriced in cbs to, and not only in public servers!

This is one of the things being discussed for the Season XI rule changes.[/size]

Wolfman, read Ghostsniper's message up top:

as well as parts of the rules that are redundant (same rule listed more than once).

Admins are aware of it and are working on it!
