For all competition ladders - there is still a limit of 6 times you can play one opponent.

Hooks, your argument would also count against the increasing number of clans that make it into the finals now. Noob clans won't take away spots from the good ones, but you are right, and that was also made with purpose, every clan independent from skill has a chance to make it into the finals now, and I think that's more a benefit, because now every clan is motivated to cb a lot and you can succeed and make it at least under the top 8. In the finals skills decide but for the main season everyone is allowed to have fun and at least try it and risk your sheep.

The system goes a complete different way than all previous ones. It's about gaming, just gaming and because the system is so simple everyone can use it with the same chances. For the main season, where the sheep are used it isn't that skill orientated anymore that's right, the sheep should just encourage everyone to play against each other and even if the cb itself wasn't that fun due some problems you can say yourself damn I lost 8 sheep so what!? You get my point and idea behind it? =D

Sounds like over the course of a 60 day season we will still get the top clans into finals.  I wouldn't worry about people fucking with the points system anymore then they have been the last 3-4 seasons.  It's gonna happen regardless.....

But the idea of doing the finals all on a set day with set times and only one loss is what really intrigues me.  Glad to see the DBL taking suggestions from members (and former members) and introducing it into the system.  That sounds awesome.

Excellant work Mauti and Elandrion.  I like the new concept and design.  This season will be awesome.


EDIT: the new DBL page seems to be loading slowly for me.  I am using the latest version of Safari(v.1.2.3) and on a fast cable connection.  Also, Mauti if you need any help, give me a holler! Cheesy

Ok firstly I'm demoting the war admins in my clan that are compulsive gamblers -I can just see me logging in one day to find we're sheepless!!  Angry hehe But overall, I like this new look and I'm sure with all these changes, it's gonna be an exciting season!

Well, looks good, though i dont think i like the idea of having BFG around our sheep...he is a farmer after all(a little)...and farmers shag sheep...we know thats.....WAIT..SHADE LIVES ON A FARM!!!!


(dont know who in mod will be able to take care of the sheep without them trying to have a go with the sheep)

No no NO!!!! The website will have a built-in sheep betting function, such a thing cannot be left to the honesty of greedy sheep-hoarders. This way, no one can back out on their word. Before your cb, you enter the sheep you and your opponent are betting, and afterward you enter the winner.
