Makes it a lot simpler on scoring... Good system I think. It also allows clans that do not cb as much to still have a chance of winning by going into battles for more sheep. Also this system allows for grudge matches between clans(should it ever arrise) where both clans could bet all their sheep. Loser is out for the season...winner walks away with a whole lot bigger of a flock.

It all looks very cool mauti.

I was just about to say the same Ein. it could happen that two clans that are far away from the finals, would play all their sheeps in one cb, the winner takes it all, and goes to the finals.
But i doubt that it will happen.

True... although if they are a long way of the finals they probably wont have that many sheep to bet on - and therefore the chances of them being able to jump such a large distance are decreased. - hopfully it will just keep the pressure on the leaders to keep going, even when they are ahead!

I think we're mostly presuming that people are mature enough to agree on the number of sheep they are gambling / taking to market, and that they will stick by this without making a fuss.  Of course SS can always be usefull if an issue arrises however.

I really like the idea of giving the B string guys a chance to CB and learn the ropes!
But yeah this is totally new and totally unexpected (gambling over sheep, what would my mother thing) anyway looks great Mauti.

P.S. being from Iowa I wanna see some pig and cow representation

if two clans have, lets say they each have 80 sheep, and they decide to bet all 80 sheep, the winner will have 160 sheep, that should be more than enough to be in top 8.
Imagine how u would feel if you were placed 8, and two hours before deadline, some noob clan, that was placed 14th suddenly moves ahead of you, i would be pissed.
It could easely end up with the clan being so pissed on the system, that it would leave the league for good.

the only problem i see in this is the fact that noob clans never have to cb to good clans. they can just keep cbin the noob clans and make it into the finals no problem, which in my opinion, is just wrong. the finals are ment for the best clans in the league. not the noobs who just cheat there way around the system.

Yep this could happen. - Well same happened in the past with the other system if in the last second an average clan has beaten a top ranked clan, often the lower ranked clan could come into the finals. At least when 6 clans made it into the finals. Well you have to fight for your place. 80 sheep should be doable.  Don't forget you and your clan decide how you proceed in the season. It's like monopoly, you can spend all your money on one street and hope someone gets there or you split your risk. It's not the system anymore that decides you all have the same possibilities. You rule how the system works and not the other way round and last but not least don't paint the devil on the wall even before the season started Wink

It's a game and I think it will be damn fun, all clans discussing about sheep. Muahahaha.

Bye,

Mauti

not posting as BL admin.
[/color][/b]

quoting from the rules:

Quote
During the main season, a clan is allowed to CB each clan a maximum of 6 times. However, a clan may not CB against a clan more than 2 times in a row. Both clans must CB against a different clan before battling against each other again.
