hey anyone, whenever i try to start up my G4, i get this small icon of a folder, cracked in half, and the cpu won't start up at all. Anyone know what to do? Huh

Boot from the install CD and reinstall.  All your programs should be fine, but a file in your system folder got bashed.

ok, i figured that, but i now have another problem: I CANT FIND THE DAMNED OS 9 CD!!! (after 3 days of searching through the office...)

find a later os if you have one to hold you over, if its possibale, anyfriends with macs?, barrow one, if your not broke, buy one?, or if your a pirate, i dotn know what you do, cause i dotn do that stuff...

thanks for the advice Zak, looking forward to playing rs with yo. I've given up and i'm borrowing a friend's os 9 cd for a night in return for letting him borrow my rs install cd. NO way in hell i'm gonna try to pirate my way out of this, cause that's what got me into this mess...

The marines are so good they took a jeep into some Iraq village trying to get ambushed, they refueled 6 times and did everything they could to get ambushed. and didn't!
Then the same people take in a army jeep and try not to get ambushed and they do. but the marines kill them all and go home.

Actually, as long as he owns a CD (even if he can't find it at the moment) he's not a pirate however he gets it.  He owns the liscense to use the OS, no matter where he loads it from.
