I was just wondering how everyone would feel about adding a clan coop section to Ghr battles. In this scenario clans would play as a team against the computer to see who could finish certain missions ( The hardest ones on elite ) the fastest. This would show clan teamwork and the ability to play the game other than shooting each other over and over.

This is just a suggestion...tell me what you think.... Wink

Over and out...

I think it is a great idea for clans, it helps their teamwork, and it also helps them know the maps more. However, sometimes the computer is really stupid, and sometimes they just aim for the head and not the body.

Great idea, even if they were newbie clans they would be able to build faster by doing coop missions. This would work very well.

Or not...

The problem with this is trusting the clans reporting their times. Also, it wouldn't work because a clan could just memorize the areas where the terrs are and quickly take them down. The whole point of haveing a cb (clan battle) is to face other clans.

If you really wanted something different, I would suggest multiple clan cb's.

You could have a battle league admin watch it but I don't really think it's a great idea.  I like multiple clan cb's and even maybe clans on the same team like 2v2 cb's.

What do you guys think of maybe having free for all clanbattles, 2v2 clanbattles, where you can have allies and there are 2 clans on a team, which I think is pretty cool and I know they do that in pc world with RS they have allies and finally a 1v1 clan battle.  I think those would be the 3 main choices unless you guys really wanted the terrorist one with a  moderator watching which probably isn't the best.

The teri's arnt always at the same spot, and even if they do memorize one map, dont clans do the same for adv enny ways?
And its should be easy to find out if there lying or not, and to have a admin whatch.

Oh, I thought that you meant that the clans would use this to help them train, not as a whole battle system.

The terroist one is stupid, if you don't even fight another clan then how is it considered a clan "war" and not a team practice?

Hmmm, 2v2cbs 2 clans on a team..... cool ideas but hopefully they wouldn't be included in an all in one Ghost Recon ladder

No Vipe, I think Mauti has already said there are going to be atleast two different types of Ghr ladders, I'm not sure what the rules are yet though.  But even if one of the ladders wasn't just exclusively 2v2 teams I'm sure there is a way to see that both clans get even points in the single ladder even though I'd prefer the 2v2 ladder separate.

Just an example as a possibility to get the 2v2 into the 1v1 cb ladder points:

The number of skill points added after a CB is decided as follows.  Winner gets 10+# of players times 4(e.g. 8 for 2v2) +(Total points of the loser(you could ad them together/Total points of the winner (add them together for the two winners) times 5)  Maybe then divide by 2.  The Loser gets 10% of their current points taken off-could be done separately for each clan)

i guess it would be like a friendly competition, sorta like bowling (for lack of a better example) where the competitors have no contact with eachother and try to achieve the highest score with their skills.

Well then we should add a Computer clan then so that when a clan can't finish the map the computer can at least get some points.  Now that's a clan war

rofl.... wow guys.  first of all, the coop clan battles are the stupidest idea i've ever heard, if you want to practice coop with your team, you do that.  and YES, the terrorists DO have fixed starting points in every map and are ALWAYS in the same spot, depending in the difficulty level, there may be more, but they are in the same places.  God... what a noob excuse.  (besides i have memorized every spot of every terrorist cause i've been playing it for almost a couple years, so it would just be every day rape)

second of all, the 2vs2 clan things wouldn't work that great cause what about the lucky team that gets to pair up with KoS? Grin  they are getting free points! Cool

I have already suggested the Ally system to Mauti when I first was on this board (when i had a PC =0), but the Ally system is kickass if you don't have many active members or just kick ass allies. You also would need a rule like 1 or 2 allies per clan.

If you pair up with  a team i dont think you should rack up the points they get, only your points that you get yourselves. Also if there are team kills maybe take away a point?

On a side note, Haz lmao when you said you would make it a quote i didnt think you would. And yes it owns everyone elses. And yes Ra?id did say it, i was there.
