R6 Modcreating Guide by *DAMN Mauti 13.8.2001

  • You want to add yourself as a 3D character, you want to create cool maps, you want to add new powerful weapons or even your own expansion pack. First I must say to create mods is very time consuming. To add only some barrels can take few hours. However before you can start you need at least the following things:

    - Simple Text to open maps and to edit them ( note that some maps are to large so Simple Text can't open them. In this case you have to use another text editor)
    - Rainbow Six

If you have these things you can start creating mods(Mod= Modification). First read through the modcreating guide from redstorm or download it.

  • Here is a summary of the most important debugkeys:
After typing debugkeys in the console, press one of the following keys:

    KeyEffect
    AToggles AI on-off
    VRotates viewpoint
    BReturns to default viewpoint
    OZoom in from third-person viewpoint
    PZoom out from third-person viewpoint
    Keypad 1Lower Resolution
    Keypad 3Higher Resolution
    F6Change viewpoint to another player
F10Toggle between debug mode and normal
    F12Skip the current level
[ and ]Toggle brightness of screen darker or lighter
< and >Raise or lower the players elevation
