Title: FAQ: Clanleader, Waradmin explained
Post by: *DAMN Elandrion on September 26, 2003, 11:47:56 am
Here's some info on what the different member types can do:

1) The Clanleader:

He/She's the primary spokesperson of a clan. There can be only one Clanleader per clan. A Clanleader has the following abilities:
a) Can change his/hers clandata: the clan's email adress and web adress, the long name, the ladders the clan participates in and the status of the clan. He/she can also change the ClanMember data. This means adding/removing members from a clan and promoting trusted members to waradmins.
b) Naturally, a Clanleader can post, confirm and reject ClanBattles.

2) Waradmins:

The Waradmins are trusted clanmembers, have small admin abilities: they can post, confirm or reject Clanbattles.

3) normal clanmembers:

The normal clanmembers can be listed as players at the CB stats page, and they will be shown as clanmembers on the clan's info page. To get added to a clan, just select the clan in the menu on the UserSettings page (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/clanladder/index.php?module=usersettings) and submit the changes. To leave a clan, check "leave clan" on the UserSettings page (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~damnr6/clanladder/index.php?module=usersettings).

Now, some info for the Clanleaders:

Every clanmember who applies for clan membership will be shown in the group "Pending". From there, you can move the member to the "Members" or directly to the "Waradmin" group.
A clanmember wishing to leave shows up in the "Leaving" group. It is now the Clanleader's responsibility to remove the clanmember from the roster.

If there are any more questions, please post them in this thread.

there's no limit in waradmins, so theoretically, yes. but then there's the question if this would make sense.
