*DAMN R6 Forum

Hi guys,

the *DBL 2.0 development is going on, but slowly. Database design is finally done. Some features and private troubles caused a heavy delay. However I have solved them now and the next steps should be easier ones.

The bad news is that I probably can't hold my personal release date of mid october. Right now I only can promise a 2006 release. There are still some difficult challenges how to add/realise/integrate certain features.

The good news: the features will be awesome.

A short overview of new features:

- Own clan website for every signed up clan
+ private clan forum and clan history(when did your members join/leave, past successes,...)
- Clans and players can look for new players and clans on an application board. You can also add requirements like how many cbs should a player have played before he sends an application.
- Players also have an extendend profile page with all won awards, blog entries, player history(joined clans, done interviews...)
- full automated challenge forms
- see all your upcoming challenges and new challenges at once
- buddy list
- clanbattle stats may also feature uptodate player stats(depends on the game)

Beside all the other features I have mentioned on this board.

Right now I'm working on the design, some smaller modules and create the database in MySQL. This shouldn't take too long. Once done I gonna form the long announced admin groups that gonna take care about upcoming changes and new games.

Mauti thats a pretty inpressive list of features. If you can pull this off then this is going to catipult *DAMN forward to compete with the big boys. Mighty inpressive mate.
