the conversion is complete; however, two problems: (1) i need to confirm permission from the author to make it available to anyone; and (2) my Mac conversion has a number of aggravating glitches and freezes, which i don't understand, and Mauti is apparently still out of the loop because i emailed him the address for his advice and haven't heard from him yet. won't be long, though, i hope.
