Title: War Crimes Post by: bronto on June 14, 2005, 05:30:50 pm So since Belgium and Germany have passed laws which would allow US leaders to be arrested for war crimes (and people from any other government which has a fair democratic system), Rumsfeld has been avoiding Europe, and the United States threatening to cut spending on UN operations (such as the building of HQ in Beliguim...how conveniant that we can do that..). The UN voted 12-0 to refrain from following through with any prosecution for another year (probably due to the US funding threats).
Anyway, I was just wondering what your thoughts are, I know that allegations have been brought up on Tommy Franks, Rumsfeld, and also Bush (pretty sure). I personally want to see some arrests, it'd be great to drop these fuckers down a few pegs...I mean, come on...it's 2005 and we still have people killing eachother over resources...we could just embrace hydrogen technology, or cold fusion, or better yet Electromagnetic Energy which has already been proven (http://www.cheniere.org/). but instead of funding these things, our government favors businesses, who in turn have everyone's nuts in their hands...just gotta squeeze em.
