hmmm let's see here.  Reading through the "terms and conditions" file in your GR folder, you come across this:

"YOUR USE OF GAMERANGER INDICATES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS."

and,

"Scott Kevill reserves the right to terminate or suspend your use of GameRanger at any time, for any conduct that Scott Kevill, in his sole discretion, believes violates these Terms and Conditions of Use or that is otherwise harmful to other GameRanger users."

Now what this means is that GR is Scott's deal, not a public institution.  By double clicking on the GR icon, connecting to the server and using GR you're saying you agree to HIS terms.  So basically even if you get 100,000 signatures saying that Kevill sucks, it don't mean piss-shit.  And don't start up with Freedom of Speech crap either.  That only applies to PUBLIC forums.  GR is a private institution, that means the owning body (Kevill) has discretion to do what he pleases with it.  Using GR is a choice you make, and by making that choice you agree to Kevill's terms.  If you don't like it you don't have to use GR, there's always game scouter....(chuckle).

But don't bite off my head, all I'm saying is that a petition only works when you send it to a mans superior.  The best you can do is organize a mail blitz, every one sends Evill letters  asking (respectfully) to change things about gameranger.
What really pisses me off about Evill is that he never awnsers peoples mail.  It makes me wonder if that's even his real address...
maybe we should get people that aren't banned from GR to chat with him about our concerns.

Yes, you are right, I don't think a petition will make him change things right away, because what's he going to do he has no one superior to him in GR. But, just maybe, it will make him listen to us and the problems we have with him. As long as we handle it like adults, and we don't curse him off (oh how much I would love to meet him in person and thank him for GR, but then curse and beat the shit out of him)  ;)

About his mail, I doubt he even reads the mail we send him. He probably just hits select all and deletes it. His powertrip is really bad and he needs a reality check to realize that if we were as much of a computer geek as he is, then we would have made a program very much like GR.

I find it funny that most of the people who bitch at me and hate me at first like me later on. Most of the people who like me when they first meet me, like me later on too.

Actually, I really only dislike one person: Vapor.

Like I said, when someone who you helped to get better at R6 turns around and starts bitching at you for no reason, you don't really appreciate it, at least I know I didn't.

As for the new DAMNS being bitchy, I've only noticed Vapor, I can't comment on anyone else. My only reason for even talking to you about Vapor is simply because one bad rep can harm a clan. Remeber what |RAIN| wang did to |RAIN|...err, that was me never mind. Still though, one jerk can classify the whole clan as jerks in GR users eyes.

None the less, DAMN is still highly respected for their mods, their members, and their website, which kicks some ass. Long before Mort and I were POD's, long before we were actually good, DAMN was always nice to us, and always helped us out. Which is why both Mort and I still agree that overall DAMN is the best clan in R6.

Of course, neither of us would ever join, we'd be DEZGRAS faster than you can say blackhand. We'd rather just be friends with all you guys, which I like to think we are.

Maybe you guys haven't heard this before but on behalf of everyone thanks for all you guys have done for r6, for GR and for the mac gaming community. You're doing something really special, and I hope you guys recognize that.

Finally, I just don't want to see DAMN go down or have its image ruined by a bad apple. Thats all.

I talked tp Evill last night. He says that the server clock messed up, and when he fixed it, it kicked about 80 people who were online, and messed up the baned peoples time. The guy with the '39 year ban' only got a  30 minute ban. Evill is really easy to talk to, and i got my questions answered really quickly. Still, i think gameSCOUTER will be nice...

POD is a FAT number on GR and tnx to overall excellent members never to undestimate. (i mostly get shot by PODs - sometimes i got my better days - but in percent: duh!) lol + a very cool and relaxed leader (Swarmmaster) who doesnt judge to harsh on me when my temper gets a bit outta control - hehe.

there are too many great people on GR right now so
