I've got an old CDRW drive from an 867 G4 that I took apart. Anyway, wanted to know if any of you wanted it. Anyway, I'll sell it to you for 10 bucks if you'll ship it.

I imagine you could stick it in as a second drive for a Dual 1.25 or something.

Anyone want this. . . Thing?

what type of connection??? ( i know internal.. but what type of internal)

Probably either 8x or 16x. No clue what kinda connection, if I can't figure out, I'll post a picture of the back of it.

Quicksilver.

     Then it's most likely Ultra ATA/66, and if the machine was a standard configuration, it's a Superdrive that burns DVD-Rs at 2x, reads DVDs at 4x, writes CD-RWs at 4x, and reads CDs at 24x.

I'm almost positive it's NOT a Super Drive. I'm pretty sure it's just a straight CDRW drive. Want to spend a few bucks and find out? ;)

Know this, if you buy this from typhy he is $10.00 closer to buying his P90

     Hey now, I think the P90 is pretty sexy. Especially when you consider the inherent aesthetic appeal of a small round that'll punch through body armor at normal engagement distances and creates a wound cavity the size of a Jeep.

1.) P90 costs 250.

2.) I've got, let's see, 150-160 bucks.

The reason I want the P90 is because nothing sticks out, unlike other small weapons ( specifically the H&K MP5 A4 was the other gun I was looking at for CQC ). It's easier to carry a box on your back through dense woods than something where you've got the mag sticking out.

I've still got my M4A1 for most situations, I want this as a close quarters combat weapon.

Best looking guns: Colt M4A1, H&K MP5 A4, H&K MP5 A5 - looks even nicer with a silencer.

Worst looking guns: All FAMAS models.

Guns you either love or hate: FN P90, Steyr Aug, Steyr ARC ( IMO, the ugliest gun ever made, but some people seem to love it ).

I don't have an M-82 yet...but I am considering purchasing one (I actually fired the real thing in the Army...very nice!).  I do, however, have a civilian version of the M-24...The Remington 700 chambered in .308 cal.  Does a very nice job on deer, moose, people....whatever.  It is in my collection of rather "legal" weapons.  I also own an M4 (SOCOM style with silencer), an H&K MP5 (also with silencer), an AK-47, and my personal defense handgun, a Glock 29 (10mm).  ;)

Oh, BTW, some of those weapons are now legal with the assault weapons ban gone and all....but then again, the silencers and the ammo I'm using are not.  ;D

     On my list for sexiest-looking guns goes the Colt 1911, the Mateba Unica revolver (the barrel is at the bottom of the cylinder, AND it's the only production automatic revolver in the world), the Pancor Jackhammer, the Aug (although more because I know how good a weapon it is rather than inherent sexiness of design), the Colt Single-Action Army revolver, and the Steyr TMP.

     My nomination for sexiest gun that's ugly as hell is the H&K G11.

The G11 looks quite comfortable to fire, though, I'll agree with you, it's ugly as hell.

Another gun that's ugly as hell is the Steyr AMR. I mean, what the fuck is wrong with that stock? It doesn't even look very comfortable.

On the subject of fucked up stocks, how about the FN 30-11? It looks like it had a second stock duct taped on.

Onto older weapons:

Whoever designed the PPS-43 should be shot. Not only was it a stupid, ugly design, but it wasn't the slighest bit durrable.

The Tompson. . . Ahh, the Thompson. It doesn't get much sexier. The M1 and M1A1 Thompsons were some of the best looking guns ever made ( only real difference is the rear sight, I believe. )

The MP40: No wonder they lost! You can't take over the world with a gun as ugly and uncomfortable as the MP40! On top of that, the rate of fire is only about 450 RPM.

The Sten: The ugly piece of shit that won the war for Britian. Durable as hell, and cheap to make and assemble.

By virtue of this isnt getting to become a flamewar, im going to leave this open, though perhaps we should make & move this to a new thread titled something along the lines of "Firearms & the ugliest gun in the world contest" ...?

Fires and feels like a dream. My only complaint looking at pictures of it was that I didn't like the idea of my hands being that close together, but now that I've got it, it feels great.

Shoot around 15 rounds per second on full auto, great accuracy, red dot sight is great.

I'll post some pictures for you tomorrow.
