Title: Be on the lookout for ID# 51897 Post by: Grifter on July 06, 2001, 12:33:01 pm Just an FYI to all the friendly folk out there... there is an ass on gameranger calling himself "PLACEBO" amongst other names. ?His ID# is 51897. ?He's been joining games, disrupting them with TK's and talk of all the clans and their cheat mods.... ?After being booted, he usually enters the game with another users handle (every time I saw, it was someone from a clan) and then proceeds to be an ass flying those false colors.
Color me reactionary, but I don't like this kind of shit. ?If you have a beef with someone, come out and say it in public, don't disrupt everyone's games. ?For the record, he wouldn't answer me when I asked him why he's doing it. ?I suggest that unless someone knows better, that we just use the ignore function to block him from all our games. The message here is that there have been a couple of posers on GR, pretending to be someone they are not, going into a game, TK'ing and other bull, etc. et. al. The easiest way to stop it is to simply use the ignore and ban features of GR for now. ?And to give the bastards a lot of shit. Not that there aren't a few tricks to use with PEARL too. Some of the best web site attacks out there are pulled off because the hacker has a great knowledge of PEARL. Free lesson over.
