*DAMN R6 Forum

Ok, my old roomie and I used to play this game... how long can you go without mocking a dumbass (usually another of our college friends). ?And it usually involved a bet with beer as the stakes. ?I'd like to introduce it to this forum. ?

The question is: ?How long can you go without responding to a DUMBASS?

My thought here being that I may have been encouraging dumbasses here by responding and showing them attention. ?And not just me. ?So I challenge Ace, Loud, Blackhand and Wrath.... who can go the longest without responding to mock a dumbass?


And, if you were wondering, yes, I'm bored off my ass in a stupid training class today, so I'm taking advantage of the time to bypass the proxy control and do a bit of surfing....

I'll bet I'll be the loser b/c I want that Senior membership w/o too much spamming of the board.. unlike a certain resident dumbass.. *cough*rom*cough* who is will willing to post to anything any amount of times to become a Senior Member.. although that should mean more then just number of posts.. but a respected member of the board..

I'll bet Ace a beer (his favorite micro brew against mine) that I can last longer without mocking a dumbass on the board....

I'm good for it Ace, ask Wrath. ?I fedex'd him a HD. ?And I almost slipped up already... I had to walk away from the keyboard, least my fingers just type the remarks on their own.

I'd inclue Wrath and Blackhand in the bet, but I know Wrath isn't old  enough to drink (so he couldn't pay up) and I don't know how old Blackie is.  So I'll bet one 20oz. Bell's Oberon against your favorite brew Ace.

And I nearly blew it again, as I added this last using the modify key, and was going to point it out to certain users that reply to their own posts just to pad their stats....  man, it's harder then you think....

Ok, here's the update.....

Blackhand is out.  The two finger and broken keyboard counts as a mock.... and I for one would like to thank you for it.  Loudnotes has not been picking up the slack, so at least now Blackhand will have free reigh to run amok again.

SEALS Ace and I have pushed the envelope a few times (Ace wasn't trying to be funny, but he did write something to get a responce from somone....  I have skirted it a few times... especially when begging Loud to get on the ball.

Wrath is squirming in his chair every time he reads the forums.... just itching like a bad case of hemroids to mock somone.

Good luck all... I'll be surpirsed if the three of us are still in the running by Monday.

ok since all three of us left are moderators (and a certain one of us is prone to abusing his powers) i propose an addition to the rules

the Wrath Clause states that if one of us (as determined by the other two) abuses our powers as moderators, he shall lose the bet... this includes deleting and modifying posts in order to bend the rules of mocking someone

in laymans terms, BAD WRATH.... BAD BOY.... NO COOKIE... GO TO YOUR ROOM, ITS TIMEOUT FOR YOU

Yeah, I came real close to abusing my powers and modifying one of Loud's posts to make it a *touch more scathing*..... I resisted. ?But the though did cross my mind.... ok, it's been doing laps of my mind, but as long as it doesn't travel down to the keyboard, I'm still in it.

I don't think it's needed.  We are all men of honor here (at least the ones in question), no matter that some of us may be unhealty colored white irish buggers... hehe.  No, I say we need no other clauses.  I'm sure that when we each fall (and we will, because mocking dumbasses is just too hard to resist) that they will own right up to it.  This is all in good fun.  Let's not start mocking each other, just to vent some of the humor which is collecting in our heads, least we lose the bet.

First of all, I consider both ace and I the pioneers of mocking dumbass' on the forums here. So Grift, I know you weren?t talking about me with the ?jumping on the bandwagon? comment. :)

And as always, I agree with your comments. In truth, Romulus hasn?t been getting on my nerves as much, mainly because I think he avoids any threads I post in and if he does post, he?s always quick to say something nice about me (Though I will admit, it feels funny to be grateful for someone calling you an ass :)).

Regardless, Romulus still strikes me as a DUMBASS. In other words, he still posts crap, etc. etc. etc. (refer back to your post Grift, I?d only be restating what you said).

Finally, though I know Romulus is responsible for his own dumbass actions, I do think that Mauti making Rom a mod was a huge mistake.

And because my mocking does not exclude my friends and respected members of the Mac community, it should be said that Mauti made a dumbass move and consequently I think both the forums, the Battle league, and sadly DAMN itself will lose some respect.

I love most of the DAMN guys, but I when I see someone like Vapor who isn?t what the DAMN clan is all about or someone like Romulus, who is an idiot, being associated closely with Mauti, Bander, and DAMN in general, I do lose some respect for DAMN.

Short and less cluttered translation: Guys like Romulus and Vapor are both parts of DAMN, yet neither upholds the clan codex.

In really simple terms: Rom and Vap are dumbass? and don?t deserve to be associated with DAMN.

Not to take a cheap shot at you Grift seeing as how I am discussing some clan-mates of yours, but these new forum members are idiots. Yep. I said it. They are new, they aren?t familiar with me, my posts, my humor, my sarcasm, or it seems sarcasm in general. They feel all high and mighty and lecture ME on my forum etiquette and in one case compare me to Hitler.

Essentially, what they?re doing would be like me walking into a courtroom and based on ONE testimony, without hearing all the previous testimonies and facts presented, making a decision that sentences someone.

In other words, they?re idiots and instead of observing and figuring out who the existing members of the forum are and how they post, they go ahead and post bullshit, something, as everyone should know, pisses me off.

As for my clanmates.... new to the forums they are.  I have one piece of advice for them, read the past postings to get a feel for the place and the players before posting too much.  Other then that, by the tone of their posts, they are trying to scrape off the shit they steped in, but hey, everyone steps in it, and everyone gets mocked over it.  They're good guys and will fit in just fine.  Hell, my first few posts here were flaming that Ass Ace ;D, but that was all over long ago, after we realized where the true evil lies (in the dumbass's).  As for offending me, it won't.  They are big boys and can take care of themselves, unlike other dumbasses that need someone to come to their rescue.... HA.
