Title: How To Make a Sniper Ret? Post by: :MoD:Shade on July 09, 2004, 04:31:47 pm This is my first time ever attempting to do this so i need all the help i can get...;)
I used this:http://www.planetrainbowsix.com/dtd/ret_tutorial.htm for everthing up until the part where you have to edit the reticle_sr.rsb file. Firstly i cannot get that to convert to pict so i've been trying to use the reticle_sr.rsb from other mods which may be my problem but i didn't think so. Second, when and if i do get another sniper rifle ret converted and opened in photoshop i cannot see the alpha channel. I see RGB, Red, Green, and Blue but no alpha. Any suggestions on how to get this to work? Title: Re:How To Make a Sniper Ret? Post by: Whisper_44 on July 09, 2004, 05:25:05 pm Okay, if you are talking about Ghost Recon .rsb's then the .rsb plugin is available on the GR/DS & IT CD, browse the CD, I believe it is in the extras folder, then place it into your Photoshop/Plug Ins/File Formats folder.

Once that's done, Photoshop should open the files without trouble. The ret files will look like black and white boxes when opened, you will need to go to channels to see the different channels, and the ret is drawn on the alpha channel.
