Could cheating get you banned from DBL? RvS has presented a problem of glitching, which is a form of cheating. So, could a person be banned from the DBL for a peroid of time, or perminantly for cheating (glitching)? PM me on GR...

Air, it has long been known that cheating is not acceptable in any way shape or form. Any clan caught cheating will be punished accordingly.

Like crypt said, cheating is not acceptable in any shape or form, moderators will not treat anyone caught cheating lightly, nor will the *DAMN Community.

You are asking if someone cheating in something other than a CB will get them banned?  Of course not.  You might just find it hard for anyone to play games with you on GameRanger if you do it a lot.

Sorry i don't understand your point, can u explain? If you mean can u cheat in a normal game that has nothing to do with *DAMN, well hell nobody can stop you - but most of us know what you can do to cheat and it can be pretty damn obviouse, and if a host saves a replay or someone gets some proof of what you have done then you will suddenly find that there isn't a single GhR Room that hasn't got you banned. - nobody like cheating.

Just to add this because this is a rule I have long since found stupid. If you get caught cheating in a GR based game solely because the person who caught you was on your team you should receive a ban. In a CB how could anyone know if they were still using those very cheats that the other team can't detect. That's my 2? on that.

well some peeps (not me though) like to fuck around in regular games (well i like to fuck around.. just not by cheating) so you cant hold that against them.. but   you can always remmber who they are. and ask for a cheat test or replays.

There are cheat test/replays in RvS? Never have these two features come to my attention...

Unlike Ghr you cannot save replys in RvS. Maybe the moderators can come up with a way to prove and submit a cheater caught in an rvs cb and post that in this area.

Now you guys Ban people for cheating? I thought you guys were still using that stupid warning point feature... which in the past shows IT DOESNT WORK...

wow, finally moving forward, instead of backwards... or maybe you guys still have that stupid WP feature...

WEll.. you can still do cheat test...... If someone is using an aimbot (like RvS built in one) when you look at the other team the ret will just to there head no matter where they are oon your screen (as seen in single player mode)

no that is true. Unless we were to have *DAMN Dedicated servers where all CB's had to be played - so that the ip's or NAT address's of the users could be blocked if necessery...

That ain't gonna happen though is it ;)

Ive been doing some stuff with the RvS Engine for Macintosh. I found some things *DAMN cannot protect agaisnt. But i will know if you are using them. Also implimenting the 1.6 no code cheats will solve simple script hacks. So far i havent found a single sole using some of the possible cheats RvS can offer. Keep it that way, this isnt the damn PC leagues.
