I wonder.....used to be 6 days left in the season....now its 18?? What is going on here??

the length of the season has been increased till the end of june. more to come... :)

why so i can wait longer:D?

It's because of the new rules who will be released probably on sunday.

He's not permabanned Harvey, he's just banned from ever being a clanleader or waradmin.

Great we get get banned for season eight.  WOOT, now we get to wait even longer to be able to cb again.  Guess its a way of keeping us out a little longer.

I am still wondering....why cant you admins do the changes in the off season???? why introduce stuff mid season???

Because they all have the brain capacity of a 6 year old.  ;D ......... jk of course.

I was wondering the same thing, I always thought it a bad idea to add new rules during a season. It tends to cause confusion and sometimes frustration.

So let me get this straight. the finals will begin the last week of june, so the first round would end past june 1st? (Anyone who knows the MP5 situation knows where I'm going with this)

Understandable however in this circumstances there was no choice - as the rule change effects both the lenghth of season and the period in which the "interseason" break will take place.

However im sure in future they will do everything they can to make sure thinigs are set up and ready before seasons begin :)

Huh? so.....you made the season longer because it was not possible to have a longer "interseason"???? I find that hard to believe....But i can see you made a choice. However, I propose a rule that clearly states that messing about with rules in any way during a season is prohibited. And for major changes, perhaps ask the comunity that has to play by these rules for advice?

I kind of wonder too.

I found it odd when new maps were introduced mid season last season.
Adding a few days is not that great a change, but if there will pop up new rules as well the change becomes a bit bigger.

I'm not saying that the bugs cannot be fixed mid season, but rule changes and new maps kind of change the league and the games.

I know this is not international sports, but in FIS (the international ski federation) wich I know a little bit about rulechanges must be announced 1 year before the come into effect. This off course is so that nobody can get an unfair advantage.  

In *DAMN this would be if someone had new maps before others or stuff like that.

Changing the ruls mid season also causes confusion among the players. All players and especialy Clan leaders and WarAdmins  got to keep themselves updated, but why not keep it simple and do changes between seasons.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the job you Moderators do, I just want to know why it is nessecary to do stuff midseason.

BTs is not returning to the DBL....

For this same reason of rule changes and map pack addons mid season.... i thought u guys learned this by now?

This is all beside the point. The season lengh was changed, obviously it was not perfect and things will hopfully opporate a lot smoother next season with re-written and clarified rules, among many other inprovments and alterations :)

for now though. this is all done and dusted.
