Okay everyone - its day one after this madness happening in the U.S.A., since yestderday im just speechless and shocked but now its just getting worser. Seems everyone does exactly what that Terrorist-bastards wanted to now.

First of all: I hope all my american friends are as well as my relatives there in NY and San Francisco

Then: I am half-afghan! this is true and what i had to read here from MANY of u made me sick. Those "bomb afghanistan etc." posters also where those who dont know anything about except what CNN (the idiot broadcasting system) told them.

I already said how sad i am about what happened and i wouldnt care if those where americans, africans, chinese or other nations people. NO one deserves to be a target to terrorists like that so i PRAY they will get those bastards and hang them up slowly.

Here some facts for those U.S. Warheads who want to see Bombs killing people - no matter if innocent or not.

Afghanistan
was invaded by the Soviet Army in the late 70thies. They said it will only be a short war - and its just "to protect the stability of the region" (how often did we hear this phrase already?).

Until then Afghanistan was ruled by King Faisal and was a western orientated country whose people where poor but proud and managed themselves. The soviet invaded - destroyed all official Afghan Arm Forces in 2 days and installed a "communistic marionette-regime" there. (Reason for all this: Gas Fields and a Gas Pipeline from the North to the South). From the late 7thies  to the end of the eightys the so called afghan "Mudjaheddin" fought a lonly freedom-war against the soviets - in the end the russians also started to place explosives in toys wich where dropped from helicopters to the ground (so when afghan kids attemted to carry them home 0or play with them they loose some fingers or a hand and would not be able to use a gun in future!). At the end the heroich Shah Ahmed Massud was able to unite ALL afghan mudjaheddin groups for a final blast against the soviets - and they suceeded. After heavy sige of kabul  the soviet army retreated back to south russia.
This conflict took about 12-14 years(!) - Now the post-war democracy in afghanistan (Led by President Rabbani) tried to establish itself but wasnt give any time to: After inetrnal disputes In 1995 suddenly the "Taliban" appeared and conquered in a "Blitz" 90% of afghan territory (coming from pakistan and saudi arabia) - one Mudjaheddin leader after the other (Hekmatiar, Dostum the Usbek etc ...) got exterminated from the Taliban Hordes who installed a stone age islamic state there now. Women may not work, gain education - not even medical aid if needed. Pictures, Movies, inetrnet, gambling, theatres even non religious music is forbidden there now. The ONLY remaining opposition there is/was always the charismatic (hes like Ch?) leader of the Tadschik "North Alliance" - Shah Ahmed Massud (former defence minister under rabbani, who still represents the official goverment of afghanistan even when they just control 5-10% of the country).

Shah Ahmed Massud, also called the "Lion of Peshawar" (this is the valley they live in and wich they defended during the whole time of soviet occupation)
was wounded or maybe also killed (i HOPE not) 2 days ago (1 day before the madness started in the U.S.A) in a suicide bomb attemt too! (The assassinators where "tarned" as reporters and the explosive device was built in their camera). Some news say Massud is only lighty wounded - others say he?s dead. Its obvously that the Taliban, who tried to overrun Panshir Valley about 10 times already are behind this too.

Until now every expert about the taliban will tell u this:
The major support they got and get comes from Pakistan and the U.S.A! (this is true). Why? remember what i said about Gas Pipelines in the beginning here wich was from inetrest for russia? Just to make sure: U can add a oil pipeline there too once u have control of the "controlers" there. Seems that plan failed and is totally outta control now. Since the 70thies Afghanistans have been used as "cannonfodder" and replacement-warriors for the big-players on this planet (first they got misused by soviets and US during the cold war and now their land is about to become a battlefield again). I hate the taliban - and i ve MORE reasons than u to hate em believe me.

Fightings in Kabul: U.S. Defence Department claimed "No retaliations yet) - i just say: The Anti-Taliban Movement has NO - i repeat - NO cruise missles. So who is behind that? Russia? Does this mean we will see Russia AND the U.S. invade Tschetchenia, Afghanistan, maybe Iran and other countries together now? I dunno - i just know im not sure if playing a wargame on GR is very enjoyable for me right now.
Most of my old "buddies" from GR who posted about this had emotional but "fair" posts. But almost all that new "pantypissers" just talked crap that makes me sick.

Btw.: I am also pretty sure it was Bin Laden - and i was hoping for years already someone would take out that damn ex-CIA man!

I was unaware that the US supported the Taliban, but I'm not suprised. We play both sides of the coin all the time.  In fact, the US is notorious for supporting oppressive regimes, and then denouncing their practices.  We have  a horrible distaste for communistslft over from the cold war, and will sacrifice every human right out there to prevent Communist insurgents from succeding in the overthrow of oppressive regimes.  Some of the most notable examples being the Vietnam War and the Iran-Contra affair.  

Its amazing that so many revolutions have succeded against our staunch and often violent opposition.  Tells you a thing or two about the strength of the human spirit and the merits of communism.


(Note: I'm not a Communist but rather a social/liberal democrat. I just have this nasty habit of looking at things objectivly.)

Many of u know that we had some hot discissons here about the U.S. foreign politics, Europeans and their political "weakness"  - these always where hot and intense discussions - but also sticked us closer together as an open minded and borderless international community. But i want to make sure that u all know: Even when i criticed the U.S. goverment sometimes (freedom of speech) i DON?T agree or sympatize with this WTC Madness in ANY way - and believe me: NO real human, with human feelings will find or use any exuse for what happened.

Vapor had a plan there wich sounds not bad for me (i would be happy to see it that way too):

Talk to idiot-Talibans: Give us Bin Laden AND all his followers in high organisation ranks

if those Taliban Apes dont handle him out then:
Send a Commando into Afghanistan (cooperating with Massuds Anti-Taliban Mudjaheddin, who know the aerea, and have contacts among the civilians), grab Bin Laden, shoot his close followers and bring him to justice court (if hes spoken guilty by a judge, like milosovic will be called guilty, he shall die in Gas or be
imprisoned forever - in this case i would change my mind on the death penalty temporally)

Then: Giving the Anti Taliban Fighters a Boost on Equipment, Food, Ammo and Cash and support their freedom-fight with air strikes and logistic and medical support.

But i fear this:
An invasion on ground in afghanistan is something like if russia would invade in vietnam today (thinking they could make it "better" than the americans once). All this will end in "the good christians and jews against the bad arabs and moslems". And as the islamic states are all way to weak to face whatever comes in "classical" frontline combat they could be forced to use "counterstrike terrorism" tactics in their attacker countries. And so we will have a spiral of death, hate and destruction - and all this will end even MORE devastating as the (already unbelieveable bad) WTC terrorblast was. Pakistan who crys now: Hey U.S. friends we will help when u invade Afghanistan ARE the MAIN supporters of the Taliban. The Taliban Movement COMES from Pakistan and their goverment (wich owns nuclear weapons) is that corrupt and weak that it could come that far, that they get overthrown and Pro-Taliban Pakistanis use their nuclear Aresenal - and then ... fukc 100%. Bye Planet Earth.

The worst thing that i had to find out personally is this:
I really thought we all live in the year 2001 and we are about to reach a new step of spiritual human evolution. But now - after 26 years of my life i seem to have to realize this: I am on a "Planet of Apes". We are all together the same Stone-Age Morons that we used to be thousands of years ago. We can hide behind clever-words and discussions, coloured pictures in TV and let us praise ourselves by our own poets but this will not hide the truth to me anymore.

Every Reaction is following an action. So to analyze how to prevent such madness in future we would need to have the "balls" to make an sharp, painful but honest analyzis of our own politics. We say "we have to defend the free world now". What does free world mean now? People who reject the right of freedom of others? Is Israel a "freedom state"? So - are the civilized nations and the "defenders of freedom" those who have the biggest arsenal of destruction? Those who get their resources from dictators and despotes (saudi arabia, most oild states) who got installed there by ourselves,
only to make sure the oil or gas pprice doesnt rise, and our economics keep on rising? Its not only the U.S. - we Euros, the Aussies, Japan and all the so called "industralized" nations are guilty by that same crime against humanity. So i am too! Cuz i am a "member" of our worth system. I play computer games (r6) on a mac wich costs could feed a palestinian family about a year in ghaza strip. I drive a crysler neon here and i am mad too when they rise the gas prices. I am also enjoying the benefits of our "civilisated" life - from time to time i drop a liberal political statement about "unfair world" - then i go and buy myself a minidisc recorder (for excemple) cuz i "need" it so bad. So i am guilty too. Thats what i think. And so i would say either the world starts to think now - think really intense and honestly. Or we will just ride into a dark and unholy future.

The news are filled with stats like "World War III", "The Defend of Freedom" etc ... and the enemy is a whole other culture on this planet. (Experts say it could have been a group of 30 people who have commited those terror strikes). And when i am honest and all will come as i think it will: Maybe its the best this planet gets rid of all humans as fast as possible. Then there might be a chance the next dominateing species on earth will make it better. ?Actually our "ethically" presence on earth is as useless as the dinosours where. U.S. the Tyrannosour Rex, The "Bandit States" little Raptors and we the Europeans are a fat dumb "Brontosaurus" who will crush everyone who attemts to steal his food.

Sad, sad world - i hate it. Gimme a spaceship and i will go ANYwhere else - and if i die in a blast in space somewhere i would be happy that my BONEs dont rott down there on the "Planet of Apes" (even when i am a dumb ape myself).

On a side note, I live in Dearborn Michigan, which is home to the highest density of Muslems outside the middle east (or at least reportedly so).  In our community of 120,000 adults, over half of them are arabic.  Many of the adults were not born in America.  But believe me, they are not dancing in the streets here.  Sure, one in a hundred may be glad this happened, but to most of them, they are more outraged then the "normal white Americans" in my city.  Let's face it, they are Americans too.  And because of a handful of sick bastards whom they share only the tie of being arab.... they are looked down upon.  They feel ashamed about it, sick about it.

A couple other notes:

Blaming Arab Americans for what happend this past week is like blaming Irish Americans (sorry Ace) for every bombing the IRA ever did in England!  It's insane.

Blaming any Arab that is not a terrorist (or harboring them, or just celebrating this murderous act) is just as insane.

At our Catholic Curch tonight, an Iman (Islamic Holy Man) is coming to speak to us.  To explain to those that don't know, that Islam does not preach this violence... That Islam believes in the one God as we do, and the Islam celebrates Jesus and his teachings, just not exactly like us, but that doesn't mean they don't believe in EVERYTHING HE STOOD FOR.  I challenge anyone here that disagrees with me on this point to go to the bookstoor and pay the $3.95 for the pocket version of the Koran... and then READ IT.

Well stated all...I'm pleased that we're not all violent crazies here.  There's not really much for me to add, except that I hope president Bush will do something uncharacteristic and keep a cool head in all this.  

Like Bander has said, if we bomb a whole people to hell, it will only inflame the conflict further.
