*DAMN R6 Forum

Well guys, it's been a great two or three years on GR, but unfortunately, I have to leave you guys.  To be honest with you, I don't know why I initally purchased a mac, I don't do any graphics or design, stuff like that. If anything, I have been hampered in school because of my mac. I'm not trashing macs, they are great platforms, but it is not the ideal machine for me.  I need PC because I need the software for school.  
I'm third year chemical engineering now, and it's time to kind of get more serious with school.  If I don't see any of you guys (noobs or vets) on GR in the next day or so, well, I'll say my good-byes here.
It's been really fun on GR and I have had alot of fun.  I will miss the late night RB6 sessions with SiX and the vets, and the day-time games with the newer guys.  I haven't seen alot of older vets on lately, the crowd is more of the newer guys now-a-days.  I'd like to thank <JR> (my first clan), [dts] and SiX for taking me in and showing me the ropes.  To all the great friends and people I met on GR, all the great games and memories.  I wish you all the best in the future, good-luck, and for you guys in school, try to study hard.
Remember the good old times, smile, I and you have had everything to gain, and nothing to lose from all this.

I'm sad :( ...Mr.  Buffy is leaving GR...I wanted to tell you that I am 4ever grateful to you and (SiX) for showing me how to play and training me in GR late at night when I first got my Mac and R6, which has been almost two years ago...thanks again Buff...I will miss you but hopefully we will keep in touch...

Dont sell your iMac, you wont get more than 25 bux for it anyways..and plus you'll be able to pop in on us in GR occasionally..

Well, I'm not too sure what to say, considering I just learned of this a moment ago.  Leave it to a Canadian to not say goodbye to me.   I figured I'd post my farewell to ya here buff, seeing that this is the most likely place that you'll read it.  It's kinda wierd saying this, after about 2 years of knowing you, playing with you, and just b'sen on GR.  From JR to DTS to SiX, u were always one of the people with whom I enjoyed playing the most.  You are a great addition to the team, your irreplacable presence will surely be missed.  Its been an enjoyable two years. I wish the best of luck to you in all your future endeavors.

'Tis a shame to see another one of the truely old school R6 players leaving. There just aren't enough of them to go around as it is. I can still remember how much I idolized dts when I first started playing. You have always been a class act (even if your computer hasn't). Being a computer science major, I hope the same fate does not befell me in a few years. Best of luck to you

well, PC is up and running, it's going great.  I am getting tons of fps now! weeee!  When I have time, I'll do a bit of research on emulators for mac so I can run GR.  BTW, does anyone have the LightSabre on Diablo2 exp pack?  The unique elite phase blade. Gimme!  :D Anyways, Kor, you almost made me cry....<sniff>  I'm still around fewl.  Oh, also, when I have time, I'll get RB6 and I can ip with ya guys if the emulator doesn't work.  If Buffy can kick ur ass on a 266 iMac, let's see what a comp that runs R6 better can do!

40 gig hard drive
Samsung 753 DF flat screen
and stuff....and all
for just $1450 or so CDN!
I built it myself and stuff to save money.
