Title: Game Types in Ghost Recon : Please Vote!!! Post by: Noto on May 06, 2004, 10:28:39 pm It has come to my attention that some of the game types used for the Team Ladder in Ghost Recon are under fire from many of you out there in the public. I've come to the decision that the public opinion on this matter is much needed before any further discussions are to take place with the Admins. Some people hate LMS, some people hate WZ, and some people hate Domination. I will only post the options that are the most feasable.
Please vote for the package you would want to use for the Team Ladder in Ghost Recon!!! .::|N| Noto Edited: Please understand that you are voting for which of the Game Types you want in the rules. Post by: Acri on May 08, 2004, 10:44:44 am I say domination should be allowed but only on really and open maps that are not sk prone like Caves, Wilderness, Ravine, Beach, Vilnius, mb embassy, Big River, mb tank etc. I.m.o it's also ok on aztek and prison, because you have lots of cover. I know MoD thinks Prison Domi was a bitch, but we just wanted to make the game more exciting than wz camping. We can pull the same moves off with warzone. Mb I can write a list with maps that are ok for Domi?

Since this Thread was started in order to collect information from the community a vote was held by the admins regarding Domination and its place in the *DAMN BL. Outcome of Ruling: Domination will not be removed from the BL. One Admin Abstained, One failed to vote, Two voted to remove Domination from the BL and Four Voted for it to remain. Comments and views from the Admins: This thread has shown that there is an overwelming dislike of the *Domination game type. However Admins do not want to restrict those who do want to play this game type and they therefore decided to leave it to individual clans to agree on before a cb. Action to be taken as a result of ruling: None. Now this is similar to what I had hoped to see in admin rulings. It tells us more than just "the vote was yes, or the vote was no." I am really impressed by this format, it is concise, well worded, and gives the Battle League members good information. Post by: BFG on May 13, 2004, 04:24:48 pm Glad you enjoy them Ghost :) At the Admins request i will contine to do this, to ensure there is a good fluidity of communication between what admins are discusing and deciding, and betwen reactions etc of the community. I hope very much this will continue to be the way forward.
As i posted previously in future where possible i will pick out specific quotes from admins on these decisions, but as im sure you can imagine its not allways possible!
