Ok, I don't know the whole story about Romulus, but from some of the stuff that I'v been reading on the forum about how CIA cheats (which I don't know if it is true or not, but based on other post I do believe that they did). Also, everyone has been saying how he is a jerk and shit like that, well I just have a question... if he is such a jerk and shit, how the hell did he ever become a moderator? And Deadeye... your thread was deleted by Romulus because he is one of the moderators for the BattleLeague Section so he deleted your thread when you posted how his clan cheated.

the way he became a mod is much like the way you became a seal, a lot of ass-kissing and bad judgement on behalf of the leaders of said clans (Mauti and Ace?).  ;)

truthfully, i don't why he became a mod (he did kiss some ass though). all i do know is that i am slowly losing respect for DAMN because of Romulus' actions.

I haven't read any other threads yet, nor do I do RS CB's, so I have no clue if Rom cheats. But I do know:
a) He is a moron
b) He became a moderator because he volunteered and Mauti needed someone for the job
c) He is no longer a moderator because Mauti came to his senses

for me, I don't have any problems with RS being as realistic as it is.  If it was a flight sim that let you fly inot the WTC, or if you played the part of terrorists, then I'd probably find it in bad taste to play right now.  But it's not, so I don't.  Also, since the nature of the game is to hunt down terrorists, I find it a bit appropiate for my moods.  Quick note, while I have always said that I don't want to go to war, nor hurt any other innocents in this cause, I've also, very clearly, stated that I'd love to see Bush pay out a bounty for the heads of the GUILTY (whomever they may be).  I'm peaceful, I'm non-viiolent, wait, no, I'm not either of those.... I'm just smart enough to know that you make the guy that bought this trouble pay for it, not anyone else.  I wish I was an even better person, and didn't thurst for vengence against the guilty... but I'm not.

Vapor, don't take this the wrong way.... but is the image on your HD?  The image has to be on the internet for it to be seen here.  I'm just guessing that you aren't pointing it to an image on a web site, since that is the classic mistake.

After all we may have every reason to think him perfectly guilty, and any trial he might have could be no more than a political sham, but it is an important sham. ?If we are to truly represent our own ideals and hopes expressed in the Constitution, shouldn't we adhere to them? ?As I mentioned in my terrorism debate thread, are we so blinded by rage and a need to blame, that we will only try people in the court of public opinion? ?Timothy McVeigh had rights....why don't these bastards?

Loud, like blackie said, if we do capture him he will get a trial. But what makes you think he will want that to happen. He isn't going to leave with out a fight, and in which we all know who would be the victor of that fight. I don't just think that he would give up and we could take him back to America and give him a trial.

Face it, he isn't going to just let us take him. He is going to get all the terrorist and what not to try to fight us, and when we defeat him, he will not be standing.

If it was just about the WTC (if you can say "just" there without choking), then I'd say he is due a fair trial.

In the case of Bin Laden, he's admitted responsibility for killing Americans in many other terrorist actions.  So, based upon all those crimes.... I wont exactly mourn the loss to justice if he doesn't make it to trial.  I'm not saying that my feelings here are correct, because they flat out are not.  But I'm not perfect, nor that big of a person.  Cheers to you for being a better person them me on this point (meant wholeheartedly, with no sarcasim).  I respect anyone that presents an intelligent opinion, more so when it goes against popular opinion, and even more so when I think it's the "right" thing to do (but I've never been accused of always doing the right thing)

I also heard that America gets most of it's cocaine from Afgahnastan. And they said that if F.B.I. were to investigate, that it would link it back to Bin Laden. So he isn't just responsible for one act on America.

heck I don't think that I'm really a better person and I don't know that I think he does deserve a trial.  However, I believe that it is the duty of our nation to give him one, even it be in absentia, to at least make a show of our ideals of liberty and human rights, as we are clearly planning to disregard many people's rights in our upcoming "war"

specialy not the right that Americans have. if the hate and attack America, then they certainly dont have the right to trail that America feels is such an improtant right. some times you just gotta send in a guy with a psg-1 to get the job done...
