The Pirates of the Desktops have returned.

Last night, marroW, Sniper, and me decided to bring back POD with Wrath's permission. He said we could do it as long as everyone knows he has nothing to do with it. We are planning on making an elite clan who are online a lot and have a lot of fun. We have 4 members so far.... marrow, sniper, pimpingpanda, and me. We will be recruiting more as time goes on. Panda is also making us a webpage. We are looking to have a lot of fun.

one observation though....BONE has always been pretty awful, and now you are forming a clan with 3 or 4 (I'm not sure exactly as it's hard to know who's in BONE) of its old members.  Have fun!

POD was somewhat cool when it was Wrath, black, mort, etc

Now its led by an even bigger clan whore than before. I want the first cb. Die.

Ace, you had to see this coming, did you actually think that Vapor was gonna stay in SEALs if he left *DAMN to join you guys. After saying that whole "200% loyal bs", then joining SEALs, and leaving to join a *POD*, (which will probably disgrace their old tag.I find it hilarious how you stuck up for him just bcause he joined SEALs and now you want him to die just poeple he played your ass.

I dont wanna start trouble with you (cuz you already hate me and all), but it just kinda made me chuckle  8))

Okay, I'm shaking my head here, and am going to fire off my two cents worth.
First off, it's obvious that this incarnation of POD simply isn't up to the standards of the POD of old. ?The fact that you guys are trying to whore the POD name to gain some "respect" is laughable. ?The fact that it's so obivious that this is what you're trying to do makes the situation doubly laughable. ?Moreso since it's making everyone laugh. ?Hysterically.

Which is WHY it's so laughable. ?You get my point....

Also, if this clan goes the way of most other clans of late, it'll be dead in four months tops. ?To be quite honest Vapor, do you think ANY clan is going to even LOOK at you when that happens? ?I'm sure you'll slut yourself off to some newbie clan (uhm...maybe that's what you're doing here) however I'm quite sure that's as far as you'll ever get.

Best of luck to you lot. ?If you can pull this off without sucking it'd be nice to have a quality clan kicking around GR to add to the roster. ?However, I'm quite sure you'll be listed in the "Clan Obituaries" sooner rather than later.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that 14-year-olds just can't commit to anything...

Maybe I'm alone on this, but regardless of what wrath said i think it's a shame that the POD tag being used again.

POD was one of if not the best r6 clan on gameranger. It consisted of a bunch of fun guys, each of whom were very good, friendly, and reliable.

Vapor and Marrow can make a clan, but not one called POD. There's no reason to use the POD tag except to capitalize of POD's former glory.

I'm sorry, but the idea of guys like Vapor (clan hopper, crappy player), toxic (super crappy player), and pimpingpanda (another clan whore) using the POD tags makes me sick.

Which is why, until they have got rid of the POD name and icon, I have them all on ignore, as does Mort, and I hope anyone who knows what POD used to be like would join me. That and anyone who hates Vapor or any of them.

I originally gave my permission to marrow (boy), who I would trust POD to. Then Vapor stepped in when marrow backed down.

While I considered telling them the deal was off, but everyone knows what a spineless moron I am, and I didn't say anything.

If they are successful with this and even bring the new POD to a glimmer of the old POD, I would be happy. If they decide to drop it, I hope you all just forget about this :)

Now, I'm not sure how Ii feel about the tags and all... i mean, when I was in POD, I didnt even have the tag, (i still have the default) but thats beside the point.

The new POD is not going to be up to par with the old one.  Thats really the meat of the subject.  They cant be as good.  Sniper and marrow were both old PODs, but they were certainly not the best players.  And instead of wrath, black, and pig, theyve got vapor, toxic, and panda.  I'm not seeing a rise in PODs skill level anytime soon.

If they have wraths blessing, what the hell, let em do it.  hes a spineless bastard, sure, but its his clan.

Im just sad that with the influx of newbies, no one will remember the old POD in its glory days.

Ace, i'll gladly play as a ringer for SEALs against them, even if it is so against the CB rules.

Strange you should mention that, Mort, but just the other day, in Vapor's game after POD was "brought back". A newbie asked what POD was.. I guess times are changing.. old clans are being buried.

Ebola: The biggest criticism POD ever got was from DAMN.. and the worst jokes. I guess you are only living up to your clan's history.

About SEED and UTO: Only GOOD clans should be brought back. WLA doesn't count either.

You guys can say what you want. "Oh Vapor is a clan whore. He left *DAMN and the SEALs and now started POD." I could care less. But ya know what, *DAMN and SEALs were rarely online anymore, and when they were on they didnt' play R6.

POD will last and you better believe it. We are going to get some kick ass people and then we going to get the respect we deserve. Say what u want how we don't have the right. This isn't the old POD this is under the new managers and it doesn't have it's old ways.

You guys think we will just die off, well that isn't going to happen. POD is going to be around for a long time.

So soon, the respect that POD deserves, is what POD will get...

vap, by giving you the reins to pod, wrath kinda guarenteed pod wont get the respect it deserves... and i still want the first cb; find me on aim if you have to

Ace, the most important thing to remember here is that this POD has nothing to do with the old one. Except in name.

Therefore, anything that happens with the new one should not be associated with the old one.

What I can't figure out is why usurp a name.  If this were some old POD members, trying to bring the old clan back to life, I'd understand.  But if I were forming a new clan, I sure wouldn't be trying out an old clans tag.... I'd be trying to start a whole new reputation.

I realize that POD had a decent reputation.... but if it's not Wrath or the rest of them.... why would you want to call yourselves POD?  Is it just a lack of imagination?  Next thing you know, we'll see someone bring back CIA... now there would be a dumbass move.

Unh-hunh, a total lack thereof. ?So tell me vap, how does it feel to be able to become the laughing stock of GR in one fell swoop? ?Hell, it took Romulus MONTHS to pull it off, and you've managed it in a day! ?So, I guess, you get SOME respect for your efficiency- although I doubt that this is the sort of "respect" you were after.
Oh, and I'm still laughing, by the way. ?I have to thank you for some of the best stress relief I've had in months. ?*snicker*.

U say that *DAMN and SEALs were really raraly online ! But ?there were an other clan u left! Remember SKUL & BONE? U left it because u wanted to be 200% (VAP) to *DAMN, and ?in those days we were often online then most other clans!!!!

MorroW u wrote to me and all other SKULs and BONEs u want be a time solo! But now u start an other clan!
And dont forget u lead Bone and let them alone now!!!!!

who would be in it?  Are there even any elite players out there that still play r6?  After I stopped actually playing, it seems like everything went permanently downhill.....
