Time for a Simpsons Reference. Episode: "Homer vs. New York" This was pre-9/11, and Homer had gotten drunk and let Barney take his car. After a while, he was notified that it was illegally parked outside of the twin towers. So he goes to NY, and finds his car, but there's the lock on the wheel, so he can't drive it away until the cop shows up at a certain time. Anyway, the point is, there's a street vendor that's selling khlav kalash, and homer buys some. Then when he asks for something drink, he is offered mountain dew or crab juice. "Ewwwwww...I'll take a crab juice" The Simpsons truly have it all. I haven't seen any of them yet (the 7-11s around here are all running the Pepsi/iTunes promo cups right now), but even you non-Mountain-Dew drinkers can get those cups to drink whatever, lesser beverage you wet your whistles with. : D

The 7-11s around here are still running the Pepsi/iTunes promotion, so if 7-11 is one of the "local convenience stores" that is doing the Mt. Dew promotion, it hasn't started here yet. I have yet to check the other convenience stores.
