Title: Please...show some guts Post by: z][t-Magnetic on March 09, 2004, 04:52:41 pm Sorry to bring this up in public, but I just think some clans show an "unsportsmanlike" behaviour.
In short: Two of the clans in the top 4 never have time, the right crew online or are just not in the mood to cb us. That?s fine...sometimes we?re not in the mood too (hmmm...well...nah...never happens). The problem is that they cb every other clan when we turn our backs. A few days ago...I asked one of the clans for a cb...they weren?t in the mood for cbing. When I check the matchlist in the morning, I see that they played 4 cbs after we logged out. Please guys. Come out and play...that?s what we?re here for isn?t it? z][t-Magnetic Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: z][t-pink rat on March 09, 2004, 04:55:56 pm Yeah you act as if you're scared of me ???
none of you cbed zt since I re-joined , mb it's time to come and ::) some rats ! Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Brutha on March 09, 2004, 05:40:04 pm When z][t asked us yesterday(yeah, I assume you mean :MoD: here) both BFG and I told you that we would not play you without our best team online. What is the problem here??? I fail to see why this is so bloody hard to understand. Yes we cb'ed others this night in question, but there is one thing that you guys fail to understand, and that is the fact that our best players dont live on the same continent...at best there is a 7 hour time delay between us. BFG tried to explain this to you last night, but I guess you somehow managed to miss the point...
So if you want to CB us, the best chance you have is to ask during the weekends....not on a monday. And as for the fact that we cb'ed others...we have to let the newer members of the clan(like me) have some cb experience before we take on the best clans out there. So stop acting like a spoiled brat and start to listen to what is said Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: z][t-Magnetic on March 09, 2004, 06:34:55 pm I?m quite aware of the things you mention. I know that you need to have your special team online. And that you cb other clans for practice...it?s all good. But when we get the same answer every day...not just yesterday...we just have to ask why? Maybe you answered it already, I dunno. You personally have always been more than willing to play.
You?re not talking to a 13 year old kid here, so please stop calling me names. z][t-Magnetic Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: BFG on March 09, 2004, 06:45:41 pm Firstly its not any "special team" ... Just some of our newest guys are understandably slightly unsure about going into to play against a small 'elite' clan who won last season and are obviously good players... Im not going to push them into it and i see no reason why they should play when they don't want to when we all play for fun in the first place.
The same answer every day.... I don't remember you asking every day, and seeing as we have played each other twice allready this season that seems a little unfounded... yes we have a lot of players, no they might not be as good as all your players... but if we were to just have a clan of 7 of the best guys we could get then we wouldn't be we wanted... Open for guys to play and enjoy playing be it just together for a laugh or for a bit of tension in a cb.... which they do. Was it really necessary to call us chickens or unsportsmanlike? I think Brutha is just a touch annoyed that when he or somone trys to explain the situation its ignored and we are regarded as being "unsportsmanlike and chickens..." I keep saying it again and again and again... We have players from all over the world... We have players online at all times of the day... Just becasue some of the guys can't cb you at a given time dosnt' mean that players who come on later dont? I lookforward to a large and thouraly enjoyable cb against z][t and the other clans we have not yet played our max Number against soon.... :D Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: z][t-Magnetic on March 09, 2004, 07:15:11 pm Quote I lookforward to a large and thouraly enjoyable cb against z][t and the other clans we have not yet played our max Number against soon.... :D That?s all I wanted to hear. I look forward to it too, since the other cbs we had were good fun. Just tell us when. z][t-Magnetic Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Civrock on March 09, 2004, 07:36:44 pm yeah, plz tell us when. maybe not after midnight in week and most likely on weekend neither. so we could make a big cb finally, before the finals of course, season ends in some days. :)
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: BFG on March 09, 2004, 07:38:28 pm Why have you just deleted the other replys to this topic?
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Brutha on March 09, 2004, 07:41:42 pm In fact I demand to know why???? (since it was my post ;))
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: BFG on March 09, 2004, 07:43:31 pm The outcome of this topic was very different... After this "edit" it has been modifed to appear quite different. I would love to know why before having to rewrite my last post again.
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Stripes on March 09, 2004, 07:44:40 pm Arghh i miss cbing zt!!! DIE ZT DIE ZT :D :D ... hehe.. im sure fA is r 2 cb YOU ALL.... in season 8 =) even if ur noob, or ur a professionel, cheater, and most like it ubernOOb :p
fA Has A strong Army now, US Side, and a Euro side... so it should be able 2 play alot of cbs with a strong team :) btw, This issue did also come up in season 6, that was just Fridge Who did it... But Magnetic is completely Right :) Stripes. Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Civrock on March 09, 2004, 07:56:18 pm The outcome of this topic was very different... After this "edit" it has been modifed to appear quite different. I would love to know why before having to rewrite my last post again. there was not and wouldnt have been an outcome. that?s why i deleted my post and yours, BFG and Brutha, which were referring to mine. i was writing it while u and magnetic posted two new posts... which solved the issue for me, for the present. so the post was not needed anymore. i?m looking forward to that promised cb against MoD. :) Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Brutha on March 09, 2004, 08:30:40 pm Great. Lets get civilized and fight it out over GhR ;D ;D ;D
Ty for that explanation Civic :) Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Civrock on March 09, 2004, 08:31:59 pm rgr that! :)
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: :MoD: Nomad on March 09, 2004, 08:42:17 pm I felt I needed to add my comments here. As a clan we have members in Canada, US and Europe. We can't all be online at the same time, but a real treat when it does happen. We do sometimes turn down cbs for one reason or another, then end up doing a few later that evening. We play some cbs just for sharpening our personnal skills and team skills, it doesn't make too much of a difference who on our team plays in that cb. Then there is the "BIG" cb against a team that is equally match, highly ranked or the winner of a previous BL season. Sure we want our good guys there, but there are some of us that want to (no, we NEED to) be there when it happens. I was at work when the previous 2 cbs with z][t were played and had to see the results on the matchlist, I was not too happy about missing it. We may turn down a cb just for the reason that we know BFG, Skillz, Addict, Sab or whoever WANTS to be there when it happens. If it was all about using only the best players, then we would have a 4 man team and they did all the cbing. Bottom line, I WANT to be there when we play a top ranked clan. If it takes a while to get us at the right time when we are all online at the same time, then it is worth the wait to me.

Just out of curiosity, who was the other clan? Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: z][t-Magnetic on March 09, 2004, 11:52:32 pm Well...I won?t mention any names, but I can tell you that it was not BTs ;)
z][t-Magnetic Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: BFG on March 10, 2004, 12:37:13 am Well im glad Civic you feel you can go around deleting posts where you see fit, without rhyme or reason... Especially as you appear to have deleted the posts rather than remove them to the spam sewage works/deleted posts as per normal.
Great to hear the posts changed what you felt regarding the situation, but after reading your responce i feel very differently from the matter... Considering you deep dislike of :MoD: and its players, your lack of any respect for any of them including myself and the manner in which you went around annoucing this. Had i read this before my original post looking foward to a good large cb, I would have thought very differently on the matter. Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Civrock on March 10, 2004, 12:54:12 am and had i read your original post while i was writing my deleted one then i wouldnt have written it... didnt i say that?
only 2 posts which were refering to mine, explanation has been given. brutha understood it... deep dislike of MoD and its players? lack of any respect for any of em including you? lol, definitely not... we had chats with several MoD members... they really wanted to cb us but they said it was not them to decide it. that what made me angry were the same excuses over and over from some MoDs, NOT all. some are good sportsmen who it?s fun playing with. and... i didnt went around announcing anything, in w/e manner u mean. sry. Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: BFG on March 10, 2004, 01:23:11 am If that is the case i misinterpreted you post, appologies. We have never had issues with you guys in the past and i would like to keep it that way, to hear your opinion has decreased over this season is regretable and for me unfounded but it is your oppinion.
Both the cb's we have played betwen each other were thoughougly enjoyable for me and i hope the others too. Some of them are desperate to do anything... especially the extreamly new and very young additions to the clan if it was them who were spoken to... Excusses, or simply trying to explain why... Not being offensive but how we play works for us, it has done over the many many seasons that we have participated here, clans have come and clans have gone but we still ponder along... Maybe we are selective are about taking brand new guys straight into clan battles - but then again going into a cb, dying straight away in every game, and feeling you have let your team down is not peoples idea of fun... And for the record we have one of the largest range of guys who participate in cbs around. But how we work has worked for us, Hence why we do things why we do. If people take offence to that to be honest that is their problem. im sorry. As i said before, i hope we can plan to get a large number of guys together at a suitable time for us all to play a good, fun and competative CB (or two!) before this season is over. Regards BFG Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: KoS.Rebel on March 10, 2004, 02:50:41 am Magnetic, i know i have no place in GHR because i never really got into it, but back in the days of Rogue Spear KoS was feared the very same way and no one would war us. You just have to deal with it and CB the people who have the balls to war u. If all else fails have inner squads to keep ur skills up.
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: crypt on March 10, 2004, 02:58:22 am Hell I'd wanna cb zt, very fun the last time i matched with them, but right now i can't, too bad i guess i'll have to miss the finals. too much work and such.
Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Saberian 3000 on March 10, 2004, 03:32:02 am OK,
To be honest, this is kinda why I dont even go online to check posts. It's kind of a waste cause to be honest everyone that leaves a post that is of any importance is mainly left for admins to look at it only, so I assume that no one really posts here anymore except to try and attempt to make another clan look like shit. In any event I am kind of suprised that this issue is happening because considering that we have already played Z][T in a cb, winning one and losing one, it's pretty funny that they would even accuse us of avoiding them. I think that this whole topic is a waste of time and should be deleted....... :MoD:Saberian And deleted it is! How about everyone involved here takes a few deep breaths and reads BFG's most recent post. It answers why MoD hasn't cbed, and does so with a nice tone. -Aramarth Title: Re:Please...show some guts Post by: Aramarth on March 10, 2004, 03:50:35 am Oh... I was so enjoying the silly little banter in this thread, but I suppose the people here aren't any more careful with the flames than those in the last thread. Im getting a bit of exercise here tonight...
