Title: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Destructo on December 07, 2001, 04:48:28 pm Ya i thought i'd post this to anyone who wishes to share a funny or just an expirence in there life, other then the same bullshit we talk about on this thing all the time....you know something funny that happened to you last week, or just some stupid thing u did....etc etc. here, i'll start....with one... Last weekend, I ?install new window washer spray jets for my ?car, there the kind that light up at night, anyway for a joke I decided for one day to turn them the opposite way, so instead of spraying at the windshield, we made them spray outward infront of the car. and mind u these sprayers can shoot a good distance. So me and my bud Nick are driving along, and thanks to this screwed up climate in the world, it is still pretty hot up here in canada. So were driving along, and u know those ppl with crappy convertables, those pieces of white trash who think they are king shit in there Crysler K-car convertable, well they gave us a dirty look for having a loud car said something to us while they gun there 1.2L engine to pass us. Mind u we take no shit from ppl like that. So I pull up behind them and press my signal switch forward and literally, fuckin soak the interior of the K-car, not to mention the back of thier heads with windshield washer! I've never seen ppl as mad and pissed as these two sluts in the car infront of us. I started to laugh my head off and so did my buddy as we pulled up beside them, we both flipped the bird and gave them the old "fuck you sluts." and we sped off. They tried to chase us, but that K-car could not keep up with my baby (rx7third gen). I'm gonna start bringing a video camera with me..lol.. Dest ;D Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: jn.wrath on December 07, 2001, 05:53:48 pm That certainly is funny.
If I had a life outside of computers, I would have something to say, but I don't, so I'll just pretend that I think you're all stalkers/perverts who are going to kill me if I say anything. It's for my own sake! Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... I'm outside your window right now! MUWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA! :o Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: KoS Ultimo on December 07, 2001, 07:59:20 pm Hell, I don't have a car, so I can't really talk about car jokes, but I can talk about a real funny thing that happened to me today.
I was Chemistry class at 7:30 in the morning (1st period), and I was bored as all hell. All I could think about was getting home and relaxing, mainly because I only got up about 45 minutes before. Well I was sitting in the un comfortable chars my poor school district gives to us while I start to feel a fart coming on. Being that I sit next to one of the most popular girls in school... of course I try to hold it in. Next, My nose starts to itchg, and I feel a sneeze coming on. When I sneezed, the hugest fart came out... I thought it sounded like a nuclear bomb. So to make a long story short, now people are going around in my high-school calling me "the chemistry pooter" O well....... It did feel good to let the pressure off my anus though..... ;D Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Asterax on December 07, 2001, 09:10:46 pm Yeah if I had a life outside of my Mac I would probably be able to recognize a certain word which may or may not start with the letters Co... Did you think about the people infront of you getting your liscense plate tags Dest?
Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Bondo on December 07, 2001, 11:00:35 pm The old sneeze fart combo. Cleans both nose and colon in one second thanks to one hundred mile per hour winds.

Post by: =|HARM|=ToonmaN on December 08, 2001, 04:51:53 am About the window washer spray jets, my freind and I have been doing that for a while, only there arn't an convertables up here so we just point em to the left and soak people on the sidewaks when we are bored. Man, people will get so pissed about the littlest things it's funny.

Asterax, ya i hope they didn't get my plate, i have a "tinted" plate cover, hopefully they didn't see it, but I don't really care, they deserved it... :D Hey chemistry pooter, dude, for some reason classrooms compel ppl to fart..boys or girls...lol...I used to drob the bomb in class, you can;t help it, and plus ou don't want to hold it in, it hurts the stomach. :( Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Grifter on December 09, 2001, 10:34:53 pm Hey Dest, just reading your bottom tag there.... ah hell, I'll give you a break. ?I was going to pick on your slow 0-60 time. ?Hell, stock I was doing 0-60 in 3.0 (and a 10.5 sec 1/4 mile). ?That was before I switched to a full titanium exhaust and tweeked the FI. ?Added about 20% to the horsies and lost 10% weight.
True, my HP doesn't peek until 13000 RPM's or so, but that's half the fun... ?125hp, 314lbs (500lbs with me on it). ?Wanna race?? ? Funniest thing that happened to me this week is that it was really nice here.... I took my track bike on the street... I hadn't ridden it for 2 months (been riding a Harley, BAH, slow).... ever throw a wheelie all the way up when you weren't expecting it?? ?It took me 30 mins to pry the seat from between the cheeks of my ass I clenched so hard. oh, for those of you that don't know me, I spend most summer weekends doing laps at tracks (sportbikes). ?I like speed. ?So far, the top speed I've done on a bike is about 178mph. ?Life is fun when you take corners at 90 =P. Besides that, I used to swim in college, I still play rugby and fence (but not very often... the only fencing club around here is over 60 mins away). ?I go to school and work way too much (working on my second masters degree, thinking about my PhD, just to make Ace call me Dr. Baker). ?Other then that, I recently got married and we'll be having our first child in another 6 months. ?I fear that will really cut into my RS time... but since my nipples are just for show (non-functional)... I'm going to see what i can do about skipping those late night feedings... hehe. {grift is a double-posting bastard -wrath Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Do you have ANY idea how difficult it is to try and drive a minivan with a model changing in the back, and you're trying to split your attention between a strategically angeled rear-view mirror and the road without being too obvious about it? Do THAT on your motorbike. ?Nyah...=) Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Destructo on December 13, 2001, 05:05:16 pm Grift?!?
get serious, 0-60 in 3.0???...in a car or a bike?..if it is a bike I understand, but a car..that's like a modified 12 litre viper Gts. A porsche does it in 5.2..nothing beats a porsche off the line... i take corners doing 70 in my car...it';s fun Sportbikes..that's fantastic...I have a friend that does that stuff, he is nuts....he stands on his seat and rolls by u on the road while you sit on the porch having a beer, that makes you look twice, believe me, your like wtf?!?....he owns a 950cc Ducati i've driven it a few times, and it is a rush...the fastest i've gone on that bike is proably 160 km/h, in mph, that's what, 110..i don't know i'm canadian...my bud has yet to tweak it... Grift, if u search the web or Limewire, there are tons of street racing clips with bikes and cars...and some good crashes too...i have quite a few of them, some good bike clips too... Grift, i understand the force of those bikes, cause he always tells me, when you hit high gear, you better put all your (excuse my language) FUCKIN weight on the front of that bike, cause high gear still has ALOT of tourge in her wheels and you could lose the bike right from under u. Do u have full leathers?... ??? Ace, try having sex on the bike too..hahaha My car is fast....Grift's bike is faster... l8ter. ::) Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Grifter on December 13, 2001, 05:13:04 pm Dest, that 0-60 time in 3.0 was on my bike. I was just giving you a little shit.
As for the watching the model changing... it's easier to get a model on the back of my bike, than it is to get one in the back of a minivan.... bikes are cool, minivans... well, they are for soccor moms. As for having sex on my motorcycle... been there, done that. you sould try it (one of the few times where I prefer a V-twin to a four banger..... v-Twins vibrate soooo much... Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Ace on December 13, 2001, 10:30:36 pm GRIFT needs the bike to make up for his lack of prowess...
And a lot of cars will beat a Porsche off the line. Except for the turbo, my dad's Mustang will smoke any stock Porsche. And a Viper GTS sent to henessy will smoke the Porsche. Post by: :|HARM|: ??SsSt.qc on December 16, 2001, 02:18:27 pm Dest...what colour are your washer light thingies...? My bro has a '93 protege 25 year anniversary edition, which was a hand me down from mom. He is slowly tuning the car up so far he hasn't gotten to the engine...but maybe when he gets back from Tokyo next week he'll have bought something for it...we usually go driving when I visit him in Ottawa, and christ there are so many K-cars rednex in Ottawa...many people who think they're the shit in their crappy cars...my bro and I like to hustle people...we let them get ahead and then we tear it up, leaving them in our dust...it's so much fun to blow a camaro or trans am away with his car...although if the guy knows how to drive his stock 220 HP camaro then were fucked...but most of these rednex can't drive anything else but their fucking tractors so we're okay...
Is your RX7 of the rotary kind? if so, what do you do with it in winter? Is it black? Anyways I want to get me a car soon...maybe a honda s2000, in black...that s, of course if I can't find a BMW 320ix...mmmmmgood.... Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... You weed smokin bastard! what's up!, haven't chatted with u in a while dude.... My Se7en is dark blue..it looks black but it's not...the colour of my LED winshield lights are blue, to match the car... Yea i store it in the winter, but i have a Mazda ProThird gen for my beater, and i can understand where ur comming from, cause those DOHC engines in the Pros respond to mods well, as for beating stock cameros, the guy in the camero is an idiot....a stupid idiot...can't shift worth shit If ur bro is gettin and engine, i reccommend the J-spec Mx-6 engine...the cams are square not circular, alot more air, and she puts out about 190 horses stock u can probably get it for about $800 Quebec dollars...my friend put that engine in his MX-3, but he got it ported and polished, and board out...so she kicks about 220 horses, then u add his MSD and NOS, he's flying at an estimated 300 i think...not sure tho... The only prob with that engine is finding seals, because the cams are square, not circular like the American Spec engine...but that's no prob. 8) Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... When i was speaking, i was talkin about the 911 sorry I didn't confirm that. And as for your dad's stock mustang beating any porsche off the line..ummmmmmm no.... The Mustang stock, and this is a 2000 GT model car pumps put 260 horsepower and 302 lb.-ft. of torque from a 4.6L V-8. That sounds pretty impressive, but really it's not...0 to 100km/h (0-60) at like 6.3 - 6.5 secs The porsche Boxster not the S (the lowest end porsche) goes 0 to 100 km/h (0-60) is an astonishing 5.9 seconds. The 3.2-litre engine offers even higher levels of performance at 252 horsies at 304 lb- ft. of tourque. Unless your dad had the SVT model, which would maybe beat it on a lucky day, i'm sorry to say u have no chance with a mustang. By the time the back wheels of that mustang stop spinning and actually grip the road, unless you have superstickies that you burned the hell out of before, the porsche is long gone. I admit, if it was more then a quarter mile, a porsche would lose to almost anything sporting a V-8, except the mustang. Ace, send a porsche to henessy and see who wins against the viper. :o Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... And a Viper GTS sent to henessy will smoke the Porsche. My dad has a 1999 SVT Cobra. 320 hp from the DOHC 4.6L V8. After the recall (there was a problem with the exhaust) it does 0-60 in 4.7-4.8 secs. That will beat any Porsche besides the Turbo off the line. Fine, send the Porsche to henessy. I still am waiting for a european car that I can't find an equally priced American car to shitkick it off the line. We could always take a $70k viper and a $70k porsche and see who wins. European cars are overpriced, snobby pieces of shit. Nothing compares to the feeling of stomping down on the gas of an American V8 and having your head snap back as your ears are overcome by the power of the raw sound from the engine. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Grifter on December 18, 2001, 09:16:21 pm Why anyone would drive anything as slow as a car and then worry about performance is beyohnd me....
Seriously... I've owned a Mustang Cobra (when I worked for Ford). If I were going to drive a performance car, I'd drive the one that still owns the world record for 0-100-0 (that's dead stop to 100 mph back to a dead stop). That would be the old Shelby Cobra with the 427 super cobra jet engine. And I even like the color... But again, I'll take my motorcycle any day, which the dyno says can hit 200mph if I go on a diet.... heh (after a little creative sprocket work along with shaving 42 pounds off the bike, adding the racing exhaust and tweeking the fuel injection. He even tried to talk me into the turbo they make for it, but I thought that was taking it too far. I don't know if I could actually handle a bike with that much more power... visions of twisting my wrist and turning the last 3 seconds of my life into a daffy duck skit...) Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Destructo on December 19, 2001, 06:41:26 pm Yea man, shelby's rule...I would love to own the GT 500
With all the Supra's that can be shot up to 800 - 900 horsies with NO NOS, you would still pick the mustang as your sports car? Ace: As for your dad's SVT cobra, that would kill any porsche but the turbo, your right. I thought your dad had the plain old GT...take that mustang into a corner..look out, hold on, and prepare for a crash. A 70k viper? is it used? lol....You say that european cars are overpriced, maybe in the USA that is true, if you were to sell a viper oversea's don't you think that it would be as much, or probably more? It has much to do with the importing that makes the price jump, not cause they want to sell it for that much. I admit that alot of American cars have alot going for them. They do have a rich background and yea, you can't get that American engine sound screamming from the back of the straightpipes anywhere else, and yes they probably have the best straight line car (Viper). But man, so much more goes into a car then just the power. You take any American car into a corner and you better pray for a miracle, cause your crashing. European cars are just built better. A little triva for all: The fastest car 0-60 is the concept Chev Camero ZL1: 574.2 kw / 770.0 bhp @ 6900 rpm = 0-60 2.7secs Take that car into a corner and die. Post by: SiGmA_X on December 19, 2001, 07:12:38 pm Im no car xpert, but isnt it generaly tru that europeian cars are faster, stock? I personaly would take a Porsche over a Ford anyday. I dont like US cars, but thast just me... And Des. is totaly rte 'bout the price jumping for the import costs. My dads friend in Germany has a decked (all options) Porsche Carrea (my spelling is teh shit 2day) 4 and its hella lot cheeper there then here... like 10-20k...

So with that said: i've had my leaner's for two years. took the test once, failed it. Not on parallel parking, which i did fine on even in a minivan. No, I went over the stopline on the last stop sign. *smacks himself for his stupidity* It's all good though, because my best friend has power windows! (on his car that is) The red jeep, simply stated, r0x0rz! Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Ace on December 28, 2001, 10:41:24 am First off Dest, this Mustang handles and brakes like a dream too. The independent rear suspension is so choice, and the big ass brakes provide more than ample stopping power.
Yes, you can get a new Viper for 70k or so. (Unless the price jumped dramatically in the last year or two without me knowing) Prices may go up some from importing, but Porsche's are far more expensive anyways. I believe the Turbo costs 130k or so. (too lazy to check) Are you telling me that's all from import costs? I'm sick and tired of the arrogant Euro "omg American cars can't do anything but go straight attitude" This ain't 19-fucking-65 no more. The Viper, Corvette, and Mustang and 3 damn nice American cars to start with, and they are far from the old single minded muscle car mold. They will kick your ass off the line, into the turn, and back around again. I would rather my money go under the hood than onto the hood ornament everyone recognizes. And as for your Supra, why don't you just dye your hair blue, pierce your eyebrow, wear spandex, and go pick up guys. Seriously, rice rockets are pansy cars for guys who aren't sure about their sexuality. I don't think anything with only 4 cylinders should ever be considered for racing. Just when you thought I was done, I gotta pull out one more mini-rant. The 427 AC Cobra is the greatest car ever made. Hands down, no discussion. Unbelievable power that still will beat most cars today and the looks to die for. If I could ever drive a real one, I could die a happy man. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Grifter on December 28, 2001, 04:40:01 pm Ace,
I got the chance, just once to drive a real AC Cobra (I've driven a few replacars with the 302 and 351... just not the same). Anyway, the only real shame of driving the REAL DEAL was I was too chicken shit to really open her up.... I mean, I have way too much respect for that classic that if I trashed it in a turn, I'd have to kill myself horribly just to feel better about it. But, that said, it got up to 100mph about as fast as my best motorcycle... and that's saying something. And it felt like it was just starting to go. As for any Euro Car snobs out there.... Let us never forget Mr Shelby and those fine American autos he's still putting together..... I do believe that he has one of the few cars out today that breaks 200mph stock ( I think there are 4 or 5 total production cars in the world that can break 200 mph on radar, the speedo doesn't count at that speed. By contrast, there are only 2 production motorcycles that do it either). Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... secondly supras are 24 valve 8 clyinders. 3rd..anything can beat a vette and a mustang...the viper is another story... First off...i don't dye my hair any colour or have any piercings. and i love pussy just like every other dude out there..ask my g/f i like hers...lol What u think importing costs are only a couple of thousands of dollars?? My friend just bought a mazda protege and the impoting cost to him was a couple of thousand...thankfully the dealer deals with most of it. On a porsche or any other thing imported I think it would be a little more then 2 grand. Dude, i understand..shelby is a smart man...his cars beats lots of cars out there...i never said they didn't...look at the Saleen mustangs..same thing...they take a unstable car and make it into a road leech. We could argue this all day and all night....we both have contrastuing opinions and we always come back with better points to top one another..frankly i am sick of reading this post, and not only that me and my buds debate about this all day....4 with americans 4 with european..whatever...half the time it depends on the driver anyway... let's leave it at this.. Different designs.. Different ideas.... Different executions... Different cars.... Different opnions... problem solved. as for grifts motorbikes...i think ace would agree when i say....get that little piece of shit away from my car before i run u over.. nah kiddin...bikers rule..and so do crotch rockets. Ace good arguments!..that's what a forum is all about And whoever drove the Mclaren... Assassin i think..consider yourself a lucky bastard. L8's Dest. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... It's been two weeks since I've even been able to hit this site. Now, I feel better. Dest, GT500's are nice, but not as nice as the AC Cobra. That is a truely one of the finest automoblies ever made. As for import costs, it all depends on who you have import it. I've had a bike shipped overseas for as little as $400. My buddy had a BMW shipped from Germany for $500. We set it up ourselves, not through a dealership. It all depends on if you are willing to deal with the time it takes. There are a bunch of good, fast cars out there from every country.... I'm not biased like that. But they are fast for cars, not SPORTBIKES (I don't acknowledge the term "crotchrocket"). As for running a sportbike over.... only if I'm already laying on the road dead.... hehe Maybe I'll ride it up there when the weather breaks Dest... I do head up that way a few times a year. Danielle and I like to hang out in Toronto. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Destructo on January 05, 2002, 02:35:16 pm Grift..
U can race yer bike in toronto..illigally..and make some $$$$...lots of street races in TO... meet in Woodbridge and follow the pack of bikes and cars...it's, excuse my language, FUCKIN HUGE here...but be prepared to run from cops...lol.. if u've ever seen the fast and the furious..that's how it works..everyone lights the road up and u go...i once saw 2 focuses and a honda brake through barbed wire fence to get away from the cops...hilarious...most of those cars are not 4x4's!!!!!!!!!! I want a modded Hayabhusha...i think that's how it's spelt...it's a quick bike that's all i know, i havea couple of good clips of them racing...a supra is tryin to keep up in one of the flicks..to film it...no chance..lol.. :o Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Grifter on January 05, 2002, 03:10:00 pm Dest,
You must like going in a strieght line, don't you?? The 'busa is fast (GSX1300-R) but it doesn't corner with the best of them. It will hit 200mph without modding (well, it did, but they de-tuned them the past 3 years). I ride a Suzuki GSX750-R and a Triumph TT600. Much lighter bikes with better chassis for cornering. As for racing, I race for real, on road courses. I like to turn and pass on turns, that's the fun part. Racing 1/4 mile is a bore to me (just my opinion, but I find that 1/4 mile is for mechanics, not drivers). As for being chased by the cops.... cops here don't chase sport bikes that often. They don't like being humbled like that. The only times I've ever been pulled over, was when I was getting gas and didn't know they were following me (they were that far back). But they still didn't give me a ticket. Think about it. You see a cop on the side of the road, parked with radar gun, and you go by at 100mph or so.... by the time he's hit 30mph, I'm doing over 160mph and climbing. By the time he's hit 55mph, I'm doing 180mph (about 300kph, which is as fast as my bike can go). Once I'm out of sight, I turn off (we split up if riding with others) and make a bunch of turns. They never find you, and give up quickly. Truth be told, I've never had to go more then 120mph on the street to get out of sight and make a turn. 180mph is reserved for the track, and really stupid days up north on flat, strieght back roads with nobody around). The exception to this was when we were at the national races in Ohio last year. They had speed traps set up with roadblocks there... caught 5 of the guys I was with, I was just lucky enough to be in the rear of the pack when we hit the area, because we were all going about 115 in a 45 zone. (for those of you that don't do conversions, that is about 190kph in an 75kph zone). But if 1/4 mile racing floats your boat, I know a guy here that makes Triumph Sprint Tripples with a turbo kit. Fastest thing I've ever seen off the line. Probably only costs $11000 USD brand spanking new with all the trimmings (seeing as my Triumph TT only cost me $8000 USD with a new helmet and a racing exhaust thrown in to boot). Yes, Yes, I know that most of you can't spend $$ like that, but this is just for perspective, since I don't know what used 'busa's or Triumphs go for. But if a new 'busa costs $12000 USD and a turbo'd Triumph Sprint costs $11000 USD, you do the math and figure which would be cheaper to get used if you know where to look. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Destructo on January 06, 2002, 09:36:35 pm Dude...yer nuts....going that fast with nothing on but a G-string!...jeez, if i was doing that on a bike i would be shitting so many bricks, that the cars windshield's behind me would be shattering....but u hafta admit..running from the cops is fun....i have a few stories about cop bolting too..
Do u guys use radios???..we use those motorola ones..the hand helds. last summer, my buddy installed his turbo, so he wanted to see if he could finally beat me..so like usual we line up, and we are on like an express way, not quite a highway, u know what i mean?..anyway, we go and were neck and neck for a little, and i start pulling away from him, when out of no-where an undercover cruiser pulls out infront of me and starts to ease on his brakes to slow me down, i didn't even see him...my buddy is still speeding up beside me, so i slammed on my brakes and i swear the car has never handled liek that one day, she loves me I guess, cause i sweavered right behind my bud, like inches..doing about 160 km/h..not really really fast, but fast...my slow witted freind finally noticed the cop, and gunned his prelude, we passed the cop..and the chase is on...i guess this guy was one of the "cops on a mission", cause the guy was drivin an Impala SS...i think it's an 89..the ones with the sleeper under the hood...so anyway..he's chasing us like a champion, down this freeway, and were doing about 180-200 km/h...and the impala is keepin up..how?, that car must have work done to it, who knows...thank god it can't turn, cause we lost him hitting a couple of corners after the off ramp..i kiss my 18's everyday...I guess we could of split up, but it didn't come to mind..stupid i know ,but, we lost him so no harm done....that's proably my best story...about cop running anyway. Grift, if i could get my car on a REAL race track i would LOVE it.....I would rather have my car handle great and do better on a race course...then i could tune the car perfect, but 1/4 mile is all i got, so i gotta make the best of it....i know that u can pay to have yer car on the track for a couple of laps or so, but then if i were to do that, tune my suspension i would have to get myself sponsored and start shaving the car down some weight cause i probably would be addictted right away....like what probably happened to u. We were thinking of orginizing an actual race, but like u said most of the cars i deal with, and my friends deal with, are straight liners....not that the cars could not handle the corners better then most, but everone is busy and everyone works a hectic job like me...i don't mean that to sound like and excuse, but stratight lining lasts maybe 10 seconds...:P...maybe one saturday in the near future, cause I would really like to make my car better, as in stabilizing it more.... actually i wouldn't mind feeling how the toyos stick... anyhoo, like i was saying run from the cops...i know that bikes go like shit and cops don't have a chance...but the cops in Toronto got smart..(after about 2 years..lol) and show up with road blocks...that's y I was talkin about those 3 cars going through barbbed wire fence...too many roadblocks... maybe we can set up a ramp for u or something....can u fly with that thing? maybe i'll send the rx7 to Saleen and tell him to put the saleen suspension in it...lol ya right. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Ace on January 06, 2002, 11:49:16 pm Bah, you guys don't know how to run from the cops. With a fast car, any moron can do it. But try doing it with a 1990 Mazda Protege (stock) You gotta rely on quick thinking, fast talking, a little guts/stupidity, and some luck.
So one night I'm going to water polo practice at the local junior college (our high school pool was shit) Basically there is one long road that curves around the campus, and the pool is near the back. So I'm doing 40 or whatever (20 mph speed limit i think ) as the road is about to curve. As I'm heading into the turn, the cop pulls around the turn in the opposite direction from behind the basketball courts where I couldn't see him. He throws on his lights, and I shit a brick. I have 3 tickets on my record, and a fourth means I lose my license. I don't know why, but I instinctively drop into second and gun it with all those four cylinders would give me. Luckily for me, the cop had to go out of the turn to find any room to flip a bitch. I'm talking to my Mazda and begging for her to make it down to the pool where he wouldn't see me. Thankfully I make it down there to see the cop fly by with lights blaring. I get out and go down to the deck to see that my team wasn't in the water (I was already late from a meeting) I check a couple places around the pool and couldn't find them, so I stupidly decide to drive back out. I get maybe 100 yards on the road when I see lights out of nowhere. Shit, he caught me. I had no choice (remember, shitty Mazda) so I pull over. He comes up to me and tells me that a car fitting my description was seen flying by a few minutes ago. I told him I had been down at the pool swimming for a while, the whole time praying he wouldn't notice that my hair was bone dry. I manage to stay calm (although I swear my hands were about to grip right through and break off the steering wheel) and the guy let me go. I drove the way home at the speed limit, something I don't think I had done since my drivers test. Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Ace, MAZDASPEED!!! Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Grifter on January 07, 2002, 08:45:29 pm Dest,
First, me and my buddies all have Chatterbox's (two way radios) installed in our helmets. They are good for about 5 miles or so. Second, yeah, you have to split up... that way, only one will get you. Third, did I mention the little toggle switch I have wired to turn all my lights (especially BRAKE lights) off. It was a thing we did in college... when the cops would chase us down old country roads. Turn off the headlights and breaklights... he'll never know where you turned. Fourth, motorcycles have one other great advantage over cars.... those teny tiny little liscense plates..... noboby can read those while you are moving. Last, track time isn't as expensive as you'd think. We rented the whole track for 12 hours (and they included the corner men) and it cost us about $120 per person for 15 riders. 15 riders is nothing, especially since you need to take a bunch of breaks. We usually ride for 20 mins each run. Your gas doesn't last much longer then that anyway at those speeds. But I degress. We usually just go to "open track days" which are days where they organize heats for practice and tunning of your motorcycle. It usually costs between $50 and $150 depending on the Track for the whole weekend. I usually get in about 16 to 20 heats in. I could ride more, but it tends to take a bit out of you. If you are interested in this, first you need to go to track school and get your liscense to ride at the track. It's usually a weekend course with lots of track time and you'll learn so much you'd never believe it (you'll be calling all the guys you "race" with now a bunch of pussies because they don't know how to push the car, and you will). Once you get that, you can go to oppen track day and the like. Later, to race in organized races, you need to get your racing liscense, but that's another story... Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... Post by: Destructo on January 08, 2002, 05:16:19 pm Your bike is rigged for a criminal....fantastic!! lol
that's a good idea with the switch that turns your lights out...hmmm that would work well on the se7en..she's black as night baby!!....good idea..never crossed my mind...probably because my head is always under the hood... As for the plates...my plate cover is tinted...just like my windows...so it helps a little, but when u have car headlights hittin yer ass, u can have it painted black lol, they see it... I've always wanted to make rotating plates..i dream of this....ur car is built with a rotating plate rotars...u hit a switch and they flip around... Ya, i've always wanted to learn how to "DRIVE"....cause my powershifting is rippin the teeth off my tranny..i can hear it happening lol...j/k.. 120 bucks a DAY! that's pennies...nice...inflate that to canadian pricing, and you'll get about 10 grand a day lol..no, about 200 probably...not bad, i'll have to get informed about it....that and the licence...shouldn't be to hard... maybe I can convince my friends to crash thier cars into the wall takin the car into a corner to fast with me...lol..no, they would be up for it I think..we smoke everyone else here anyway..it's gettin boring..mine as well.. thxs. 8) Title: Re: Getting to know some of u guys... I'm too lazy to go check back at the beginning and your first post, even though I would only have to scroll down on this reply page.... anyway, if I did, I'm pretty sure I would see that you didn't want to get to know our cars, but us....this thread has turned into nothing but a restatement of all of the world's car manufacturers websites.....
