Ok, this is really pissing me off lately.  Every time I go on GR, I see a couple people talking about why PC's are better then Mac's for gaming.  And how much better theri frame-rates are.

Get off it already.  If you like the PC's that much better, go game on them.  It's old, it's tired, it's stupid.  

So drop it already.  Why troll for the same stupid argument all the time.  Especially when most of them don't even know what the fuck they are talking about.

If you like PC gaming that much, go.  Game on the PC.  Get the hell out of town.  Because if you are on GR saying it, then you are 1) being a troll and 2) disproving your own argument by spending the time on the system you seem to hate.

A good number of mac users on gameranger are teenagers using machines either owned, or inhereited by someone, and that can some times make for some really spoiled brats.

its not really an arguement anymore,
because i couldn't care  if someone gets 20more fps than me, or can use aimbots, or can enjoy the latest ms worm.

Frankly i know of no one who uses a mac exclusively for gaming. I own a mac because i like using a better computer.

there is a more wide variety in games for pc, plus the community is 1000 times bigger then what we have here on GR.  plus there is never server lackage, and there is more people with very nice servers, so why not play on a PC or admit that PC gaming > mac gaming.  Its logical, only PC morons that play ghr is because they are just another idiot from the neighbor hood and a smart PC player would play SC NS or some other game like RvS.  I don't care, just lately the G5 came out, whoop dee fucking doo.  PC's still have more games and better fps rates. so you tell me why.

I rarely play games on GameRanger anymore - the only reason I play games on my mac at all, is because it's a laptop, and allows me to sit in a much nicer chair, anywhere in the house.

Again, the reason I bitch about framerates on my macs are because of how shitty most ports are.

PCs are definetly superior gaming machines. They are not superior computers.

Mac gaming is for people who actually use a computer for something other then porn and games and want to play games.

Reading through my posts in this thread, trying to view them in a third person perspective; I couldn't help thinking "what an arrogant prick" ( in reference to myself ). I apologize.

Let me just touch, real quickly, on why I run things at such a high resolution; it makes the game look better. I'll take the framerate hit for that improvement. 1600x1200 is the highest that I run any games.

let me further add that when i bought this computer i knew full well that other than for typing the occasional paper i was going to be using it to play games.

i bought this computer because i prefer the community that i play games in over that which i present in the PC world, which at times is nothing more than a sea of names with nothing behind them

That's why sadly I never see you guys anymore. I don't wanna be anyother one of those gay fags who post about how l33t their pc is. My pc is gay. It has awesome specs and plays games flawelessly, but I still hate it. I use it atleast 3 hours a day inbetween work and school and hanging out with friends (I dont sleep) Sadly enough, I still hate my pc.

But for games, its another whole thing. I love my pc for games. I miss mac players, and the community i grew up, lets just leave it at that. PC players will always be gay, and by that I mean the poeple that "act" like they have a pc. I am a pc user and I still consider myself a mac4life fanatic.

i never said i had a pc, or that i wanted one, i am just saying that their gaming community is much better then the mac. but that big of community as brain said there is nothing behind just causal name spammage. meanless names, in a smaller community you will know other people better and have more buddies, in the pc world, u either have to know the person irl to play and have fun.

Fuck you. They have no sex symbol. When I play with PCers in AA I can tell they are PCers, besides the few nice ones. They just are sort of under your skin, in a humping leg sort of way. You're flip flopping Smokie. At the begining you say how much better the PC community is. But near the end your grammer gets worse than Snipey's and you its better on the mac where you know people?

The mac gaming scene is getting porgressively better...It's had its ups and downs....mostly downs...but it's bringing all the games I want. If you want despensible games, by that I mean you'll start playing a new game every couple of weeks, then the PC is for you. If your a person whose patient and has better things to do than argue over FPS and tech specs ( ;) ) welcome to Mac OS.  8)

I'll sum it up this way, and these aren't absolutes and feel free to debate:

PC-
Pros: Gaming, Price.
Cons: Worms, Viruses, Crashes, Stability, Hardware problems, OS, Butt ugly...

Mac-
Pros: Graphics, Stability, No worms/virus/constant crashes, OS, Hardware quailty, Design...
Cons: Price, Gaming.

Speed wasn't mentiond because that is a very touchy issue currently...
