Title: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Destructo on February 23, 2002, 12:47:18 am :)
Ever since I was about 7-8 years old there has been 1 game that I and all my friends have loved, and will always love...1 game above all others, and last weekend we had the LUCK and enjoyment of re-uniting with her...at least a 10 yr old game, arcade game....how?..i have no clue...right place at the right time i guess...let me tell u this story... Last Sunday night as I left my house, the plans were to pick up a couple of my buddies and we were to head down to my friends dad's house, which is in the middle of NO-WHERE, you know have a few beers...chill...think of a right hick town with nothing but the local convience store, pizza place and gas pump..that was it, that was the main intersection..Well at about 1am we decided to go home, and when i got into my car i noticed i needed fuel, so we opted to stop before we left for home..(thank god it was a shell, or else i would have kept going)..but we stop get out on a not so cold but warm breezy winter night...i un-do my gas cap and my buddy says he is just gonna jet across the road to grab a pack of smokes..cool...remeber, this is in BUTT-FUCK NO-WHERE!...literally 1 gas station, 1 convience store, 1 pizza place and THE WOODS...i can't strees that enough!!!..lol..anyway...i'm fueling up, just finishing actually...i start placing the fuel nozzle back into the gas pump when my buddy..with a fucked up look on his face..like amazement comes walking toward us...he is like.."Dudes, you have to come into that Quik-e-mart, u will not belive this"...Ok me and my other buddy are like wtf?!?!..ok??....i quickly payed the clerk and set my car off to the side...and we follow him in, I Swear to God as soon as i stepped into the store all i hear, comming from the back of the store...not very loud, but loud enough so u can hear it....it screams... ALL_UUU_CANNN!!!!!! (don't mind my spelling) Were like what the fuckith? then we hear: HAAA_DOOO_KEN!!!!! No. It can't be. omg. My friend literally pushed me and my bud infront, out of the way while the guy, like a selfish kid, scurries to the back of this butt-ugly painted, funny smelling, meat expired store...The clerk must have been thinking fucked up thoughts about us or something because as soon as we got to the back, we seriosly raised both hands and screamed in this HICK-ASS store... OH MY FUCKIN GOD...STREET FIGHTER 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o Now I know many of u except maybe Grift, probably don't know what it is, or if u do, were not a big fan...but man that is MY favorite GAME!....i own at streetfighters...but this street fighter was not the souped up turbo shit or all the alpha garbage with like 200 guys to pick from, This was STREET FIGHTER 2 the normal one....16 players, 1 chance around the world baby!!!!!!! We are literally shitting bricks in the store. There she was, original Street Fighter 2...dusty as fuck, with lots of good chucks out of her arcade shell...looks like she was put to good use...original joysticks in-tact..original button colours..ORIGINAL special move data and punch kick powers...absoulty fantastic...prestine We wiped her off a bit, wiped the header where the Street Fighter 2 logo was..(the thing on top of the game casing...up high)....wiped the screen down, the buttons, the joystick area and a little of the Ryu on the side of the game, with our clothes of course....the joy just standing infront of her, brang back so many memories wasting my time infront of it....i almost cried serious....it had been at least 2 years since i have played the original streetfighter.... Right then and there...all the bills we had..we only had 20 bucks...we walked right to the front of that 24hr Mini-Mart, slammed the 20 down.... Quarters please. 2 and a half hours we spent there....re-living the childhood.....good for the soul man. on top of that, the owner of the plae gave us some stooles to sit on, and a couple of free cokes... One of the best Sundays i have ever had.... It was har leaving her....but i know, one day i don't know how, i am gonna own her...1 orignal Street Figher 2 arcade game in my house....and if my wife says different, i'm divorcing her. That's my story..what's yours? ;) Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 23, 2002, 01:06:12 am A 10 year old machine can't cost that much, maybe you can buy it from the guy, I mean, if it was that dirty it couldn't have been bringing in too much money. ?But yes Dest, I do remember the Street Fighter 2 arcade (along with Mortal Kombat) were the two best machines in the local Peter Piper Pizza. ?I actually had a chance to play Street Fighter 1 once which was alright but not quite what SF2 was. ?BTW, SF2 and MK were the last fighters I really played as they all got fucked up with combo moves. ?Thank god for Super Smash Bros. Melee and simple gaming. ?The new age fighters with their big breasted women have nothing on SF2 and the hottie that is Chun-Li.
Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: |MP|Nomad on February 23, 2002, 02:02:21 am Well Dest,
Jesus man get a life.....JOKE....you are a true gamer, I mean willing to divorce your wife for a game.....if that ever happens you give me riing I'll dump mine and we'll get married and play SF2 all day. My Fav game of all time growing up here in canada....have been pac-mac, galaga, 1942, operation wolf, SF2, and whole bunch I can't remember. Oh and lets not forget game of all time GINO'S "Gitz" or Gettoni. Played that quite a bit growing up, even when I lived in Italy, actually thats where I began my unforseen talents. But if you want my advice Dest.....go buy it....nothing like remenicing about good sex...ah umm I mean games. ;D Anyhow, I really think you should get a life.....o and btw....just remember next time we talk about hooking up to meet, and I can't make it for whatever reason, just remember you backed out bro last time u giabroni!!!!! Pace Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Destructo on February 23, 2002, 02:27:14 am Bondo,
As i sit her with nothing to do, i have been talkin to nomad about gamming long time ago...we made it a night actually...chattin away about games forgotten... Out of curiousity i went onto ebay...and to my surprise, there are alot of them being sold..arcade machines and console games period...the SF2 arcade i saw, which was in prestine shape was going for 300 american...with 4 bids to it...not bad...rack out about 500 and i can have one...i think that will happen in the nearer rather then the futhur future...but i think i would rather own one that is well used, with battle scars and age....definatly going to look into buying it from that man at the store. And bondo, yes *tear*...combo's ruined the fighting game scene...not to say in games such as street figher and mortal kombat u could not do combos, but the combos u did were based on skill not on joystick movement...for example doing a triple hit uppercut with Ken, where u would have to uppercut first before executing the double quarter circle motion for the All U Kan (flying uppercut)....or even the devestating sub-zero upper cut, mid air freeze, uppercut to slide. That took skill...How many street fights do u see guys throwing 10 hit combos? The day Killer Instinct came to the arcade was the death of true 1 vs 1 attack games...i lothed that day..i can remeber it like it was yesterday...they moved the SF2 and MK machines to the corners to make room for the big KI machine with it's 14 hit "Killer combos". Nomad..operation wolf..yes...As we spoke earlier nomad, we will see, but definate possibility. Pac-man was proably the most popular all time game. i have a question for the Fighter game guru's of that era....How did u hold your joystick? Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on February 23, 2002, 02:59:47 am Between my index finger and my thumb ;D
While I played Street Fighter 2 occasionally, I take definite preference to Mortal Kombat...nothing like kicking the shit out of your buddies with Raiden. (Although kicking the shit out of your buddies with Sagat in SF2 was fun also :D) As long as you saps are talking about classics, how dare you forget Centipede and Frogger! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 23, 2002, 08:21:41 am I hold the joystick with thumb, index, and middle fingers.
Anyway, another of my arcade favorites was Golden Axe. I once got $20 for christmas (I got other stuff but the 20 was in cash) so we went down to the convinence store in the small town my grandparents live in and went to the arcade, I then proceeded to spend all $20 trying to work through the game. Too bad I died on the stupid last boss. Son of a bitch. Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Destructo on February 23, 2002, 11:23:42 am The index finger and thumb eh?
Not me i held it between my middle and fourth fingers. You had to especially in the fighting games like the Street Fighters and Mk's. If u didn't u never got the right joystick movement, u would always miss your halfcircle fireballs and uppercuts...plus it is a much faster way of movement and directions....U always knew how good your opponent was by the way they held teh joystick. Yes Ass(sass(sass(assain) we are kinda talking about the classics...but we are talkin about the classics that had a big impact on your gamming life...SF2 for me for example...Golden Axe, which was a definatly wicked game for Bondo. What was urs?..other then "Lee Travino's putt-putt challenge"? Ya but Bondo, u have to take pride that u were proably 1 of the few to ever get that far in that game, i t was very tough...and spending 20 bucks on a machine, counterary to what many think and say, is NOT a waste of money. I have good hand eye co-ordination thanks to vidseo games..lol :D Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on February 23, 2002, 12:24:45 pm hah, "lee Travino's putt-putt challenge" good one dest.
Actually, it would have to be Area 51 and Mortal Kombat Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Ace on February 23, 2002, 02:37:13 pm Actually Dest, the original SF2 had 8 playable characters. SF2 Championship edition had 12. I still remember going to the 7-11, getting slurpees, and playing SF2 after little league games. Ahh, the good ol' days.
I was never a really big MK fan. I don't know why, it just wasn't as cool as SF2 to me. And Assassin, Area 51 was definitely badass. My dad worked for the company who made it, so I got to see it a couple times at various early stages of development, which made it even cooler to see as a final product. I also would sometimes go with him to work on the weekends and play in the company arcade for free all day long. Sure beat feeding quarters into a machine. Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 23, 2002, 03:31:50 pm Were to start in replying to all these posts
First about Lee Travino's "You are 8 ft from the hole, you have selected the driver...I recommend the putter...Driver. *swack* the ball is in the parking lot...do you want to play again?" Second, don't know about hand eye coordination (bad eyesight kinda ruins that) but I know video games gave me a fat ass =) Too bad all the sellouts finished Golden Axe when it came out on the Genny. I think MK was my favorite arcade game though, there is something about watching the good players do fatalities that was just cool (seeing as I wasn't one of the good players, maybe because of the way I held the joystick). Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 26, 2002, 08:32:36 pm Why did a newbie have to come along and hide great threads like this one under a mound of shit. Lets get back to this...Uh, speaking of classic gaming, I got Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Advance today. The sonic games were class back in the days. High speed, pure fun platforming.
Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Grifter on February 26, 2002, 09:36:19 pm Yes, SF2... ah, the good ol' days. Blanca good.... heh.
Ace, your dad work for Williams Entertainment? One of my college bud's got a job there a few years back. I helped him move out and he showed me the office (nothing in the world like having a free arcade in the lobby, which they encourage the workers there to play). Dream Job if ever there was one. The bastard... Anyway, back to SF2, yes, a fine game if ever there was one. I'd have to go back in my roots a bit farter... I think the name was Karate Champ... it was two guys playing three point matches with "normal" karate moves... simple 2 D graphhics and backgrounds.... but I'd spend a cool grand to buy a mint condition machine for my basement. Cyberbowl (football game played with robots, two players with their own screens) would probably come in second place for me (based upon number of quarters dropped). Which brings me to a question.... do the video games down there in the great white north (yes, I live in the only major US city DUE NORTH of Canada) take quarters or twonies? If they only take quarters, I was ripped off as a child, I could have been getting 2 for 1 games for the price of a boarder crossing.... Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 26, 2002, 10:14:17 pm Well, due north of part of Canada at least Grift. Having trouble narrowing that down to mean anything. The major city part doesn't help much either. Michigan you said earlier, right?
Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Ace on February 27, 2002, 02:02:18 am GRIFT, I believe they were called Time Warner Interactive at the time. My dad worked for Time Warner Interactive Group in southern California before they merged with Atari or whatever the hell they were calling themselves. Area 51 and Primal Rage were probably their two biggest titles. If I remember correctly, Williams bought them out soon after my dad left. Frankly, I didn't really care because to an eleven year old, that lobby arcade was the coolest thing I ever saw.
And of course Blanca was the character of choice. All my little league teammates were little Bison using whores, and I was one of the few who used anyone else. Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: jn.wrath on February 27, 2002, 10:36:34 am mmm.. I remember back in the day when the arcade's most played game was SF2... then came that fateful day when it was replaced with.. Virtua Fighter.. I nearly cried when I saw that they had replaced the machine with quarters and dimes stuck under the plastic with some damn 3D fighter.
I do love the intro for SF2.. Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Grifter on February 27, 2002, 07:10:13 pm Ace, I was 23 or 24 when I first saw that lobby... and even at that age, it was the second best place in the world to be (Hef's hot tub having to score a big #1). I had to quit playing Blanca after a while.. it became no contest. Hands down, nobody could be Blanca if the guy knows what he's doing.
Dest... Detroit. All you had to do is look at my tag on the left there <------------ Windsor is due south of me just across the river there (looking out my office window) I work about 1.5 miles from the Ambassador Bridge, which runs south to Windsor (a nice town that I visited often when I was 19 and 20 for that great Canadian brew (and the lower drinking age). And yes, Detroit is still one of the largest cities in the US. Hell, in the subburb I actually live in there are 130000 people.... and we aren't that big (and if this were Houston, they'd count the 'burbs in the census). Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 27, 2002, 09:11:22 pm Hehe Grift, I don't naturally just look at people's sidebars and quotes. But yes, I was assuming Detroit if my Michigan guess was right, although I didn't know exactly where Detroit was in the state. And it was me and not Dest you need to be talking too about that. Speaking of Houston suburbs, I live in the lovely Denver suburb of Colorado Springs pop. 450k ;)
Everywhere from Pueblo up through Boulder is one big city with a few 30 mile undeveloped areas. Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Destructo on February 27, 2002, 10:46:04 pm First off..i'm wasted out of my tree..i just got home from the bar on a Wed's night and i am having trouble typing...and it;s been about 2 days since i replied to this, sorry for the dely, but i had a couple of things to attend to...

I am glad to see that so many have out thier thoughts into theis post, it feels nice to see others sharing some great gamming roots....I enjoy reading about all your roots and expirences...i like hearing them... man where do i start replying to all the messgaes.. The one that caught my eye first..was the Quaters vs toonies...Game machines in Canada take quaters...50? a game, with a 25? continues baby!!!....tongiht I played a 25 cent tekken 3 machine..it was great... Ace..Sf1, yes u are right, but the only thing about SF1 that I remeber was the joystick being to hard and stiff to execute any moves...it was a large upgrade to the SF2... Bondo..Sonic the Hedgehog???.....nothing beats mario bros, sonic got me to dizzy...I guess that is why sega has left the console business and is sticking to sports games from now on...but yes it was good technogogy at the time, the speed chip...i admit it was quite fast....very fast actually...then again, i was more Nintendo then sega..i always though sega had very bad sound... Ok for all the SF2 fans...u bring me your blanka anyday, and i will gaurentee to whipe the floor with you..using no-one other then my fav player..Ken...when i heard Ken's them song, there was no stoppping me...ALLL U KAN!!..Speaking of blanka...u know when you moved forward with him..you ever notice how much of an ape he looks like?...look at his face...lol Assasssassssasssasssass(ass)in...admit it...Lee Travino is your idol...hahaha ;D You know I never really played area 51..i tired it...and i know for a fact the girl in the game who runs across the screen had a HUGE set of knockers....what i wouldn't give to put my face in the middle of those virtual wonders...lol...You ever play those kind of shooting games when your partner was some annoyamous guy who sucked really bad??...man i remember....makes u wish you could load the arcade gun with real bullets and shoot him, because the more he sucks, the more u die... Grift..yes karate champ..i owned that for 8-bit nintendo...one of the funest games...i remember the front kick doing lots of damage...2D graphics..red vs white...punch, kick, front kick, roundhouse and jump kick...the basics...now...20 hit combo's with a super move...where has it all gone????....*looks into the sky*....WHERE!! This may sound perverted, but know u all have tried..but u ever look for those sex games?...shit like Leisure Suit Larry, and strip pokers....when i was 15 i searched high and low for those puppies, but i could never quite get my hands on those...BAH!...goddamn... ahhh..btw..Guelph, Ontario...population 105,000....best air quality and water in Ontario... See, i knew in the back of my head, u all knew SF2... knew it!!!!!!!!!!.....When i buy my machine...which will hopefully be soon...u can all come over..bring some booze..and camp out in my house as long as u want...play some SF2....share some stories....cause some havoc....etc etc...bring your macs, and we will set them up all in my basement....with T3 of course...and have ourselves a good time! ;D ;D 8) ;) :D Grift...lol Detroit...power to u bro..i hear ya. plz, post some more stories u have...i'd love to read them..i will post more next time..i am too drunk to think. :( :( ::) p.s i have to finish the rest of this post on the next one down...lol Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Destructo on February 27, 2002, 10:47:57 pm For all u Blanka Fans...
Blanka Many people fear him, others are intrigued, or call him a freak. None will say this to his face however, which is bestial at best. Having fallen from an airplane as a child, Blanka was raised by the animals of the Amazon, and his close encounters with electrical eels have given him the ability to channel shocking power through his body. Some say he was also a victim of toxic waste pollution, as his body seems to have mutated into a bestial mockery of man, suitable for Dr. Moreau's island. He has all the agility of the great apes of the jungle and the ferocity of the largest lions. His strongest and most deadly attack is his roll attack, where he can launch his whole body, curled into a ball, at his opponent. He has learned to roll straight, upwards at an angle, and even in an arc. He is totally fearless and will never back down from a fight, which has led him to the Street Fighter tournaments. That, and attempting to understand his own mysterious identity. Unbeknownst to him, his mother has been searching for him frantically all these years, and upon seeing Blanka's picture in a Brazilian newspaper, she met him at his final match. United after years of loneliness, Blanka departed with his mother happily and hasn't been seen since. But many wonder if he will return to the fight, which has been his friend for so long. Note: If you follow the Street Fighter The Movie continuity storyline, Blanka is really a mutant version of Guile's friend Charlie created by Bison and Dhalsim. and of course i must add... Ken As a teen, Ken was a risk-taker, a flashy youth who had no fear. As he got out of control, his wealthy parents sent him to Japan to learn of honor, respect, and discipline through the wise Shotokan teacher Gouken. There he met Ryu, another young karate student, and they quickly became friends for life. As they sparred under the guidance of Gouken, Ken put a little flare into his techniques and often teased Ryu when he learned a new attack first. While Ryu concentrated and played every move out in his head, Ken tended towards the reckless, berserker style that fit his personality best. Much to Ryu's, and even Gouken's surprise, Ken mastered the dragon punch so completely his chi would cause his fist (and any unlucky opponents hit) to burst into flame. He even developed two super attacks based on dragon punches in his studies. When Master Gouken died, Ken went back to America to train in the tournaments held there. He quickly became the US karate champion and went on to make movies. Becoming a wealthy action-movie actor, Ken was unable to defeat Sagat when the Street Fighter tournament arrived, but was pleased when his old sparring buddy Ryu won the title. When he returned to the US, he met Eliza, and fell madly in love. In the second Street Fighter tournament, he again fell short of the title, but when it was all over, he married Eliza, happy that he was among the best of the world's fighters. Now, in the third tournament, he looks forward to facing Ryu again, and perhaps Gill, the fearsome new challenger to the title. It is here that he learns of Sean, a young warrior who wishes to train under him. Having matured greatly over the years, he actually hopes to train his young son, Mel, in the ways of Shotokan karate, so that he may be as honorable as his friend Ryu, whom he had lost contact with during the intervening years between championships. SF2 info... http://www.videogames.com/features/universal/sfhistory/char.html have a good night! :o Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 28, 2002, 12:10:53 am Quote Bondo..Sonic the Hedgehog???.....nothing beats mario bros, sonic got me to dizzy...I guess that is why sega has left the console business and is sticking to sports games from now on...but yes it was good technogogy at the time, the speed chip...i admit it was quite fast....very fast actually...then again, i was more Nintendo then sega..i always though sega had very bad sound... Well Dest, first off, I'm as big a Nintendo fan as anyone, While the N64 was my first of their consoles I played the NES and SNES extensively at friends house. Only reason I had Genny to start was my dad's company made chips for it (and btw just happens to be in discussion to make the chips for the PS3). If not for that I probably wouldn't have every gotten into games as much as I am. Who knows, maybe I would have stayed in sports, stayed thin, and gotten a girlfriend, oh the horror. I do prefer Sonic to Mario though. Speaking of Lesure Suit Larry, I played through one of them and it was quite funny, but it really is just sex comedy, not so much animated naked women (although there is some of that). In the one I played for example, you meet a dominatrix, a lesbian who lets you see her breasts before killing you and then the ultimate women (I say this because she is the one you meet to win the game). The game is good for humor not for porn though. I had an interesting shareware strip poker application that was just incredibly wild, not to mention not poker. Anyone playing that game would be incredibly drunk and incredibly violated after they finished. Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on February 28, 2002, 10:06:45 pm Anyone else play the Track and Field game for the NES that was on the same cart as Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt? The one where you use the mat that you actually run on and race against guys with names of animals indicating their speed. That was a fun game except for the fact that I'd just use my hands to run so I could beat cheetah. I think I'll go over to my friends house and see if I can snag his NES and mat and use it as my exercise plan. Monday, beat slug, Tuesday, beat Turtle, Wendsday, beat inanimate object, Thursday, day off because Wendsday was so difficult, Friday, lose miserably to Cheetah. Ah, I can see already that I'll lose a grand total of 1 pound.
Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: PsYcO aSsAsSiN on March 01, 2002, 02:24:51 am omfg, you double posting newbie uber-moderator!
I actually cannot recall the Track and Field game bondo, sorry. As for the "having to rest after racing an inanimate object" lol...you could probably lose that Grand Total of One Pound faster by sitting on your ass and playing R6 for 10 hours straight (no eating allowed) ;D Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on March 01, 2002, 08:59:34 am Remember what I said to Bigpat, I'm allowed things like that as I'm tetering so close to 500. This post naturally is just another pos used to acheive it.
Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: jn.wrath on March 01, 2002, 09:53:25 am Ahahaha, I remember the track and field game.. that was fun..
Ever played Snoopy's game? I don't remember the exact title, but you performed different stunts.. potato sack races, etc.. hehe Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on March 01, 2002, 11:53:27 am Can't say I've ever seen a Snoopy game much less played one. Anyone here ever play Spiceworld (PSX), man that was a piece of shit. And unlike most people who call it shit, I actually enjoy the Spice Girls music, but my god what a waste of a disc that was. Good thing I got it for $2.
Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Destructo on March 01, 2002, 10:39:46 pm BONDO!
i remember that shitty running platform for nes...the fuckin thing never worked, remeber the POWER GLOVE?..ahahahaha Assassassssssasss(ass)(o)asss(sin....u retired (or so we thought, cause yer on GR as we speak)....old man, if bondo has other thoughts after his first post he would like to share, who are u to critize..your gay!..lol jn..only freaks played the snoopy game..FREAKS! lol...I once played Ultra Vixxen at my bud's house...u had to pinch the chicks nipples and stuff...not up my alley, but i'm sure ASS would love it...he likes to control..lol ;) All the replies to this post made me take out the 8-bit nes the other day...I played some super spike V-ball..(wicked), some micro machines, Captain Skyhawk, Ninja Gaiden 3...which was proably one of my favs to...and of course i played some Mario Bondo! Who had ever seen the moive called..."THe Kid" or something..where the kid goes to this big game fest and theere are 3 contestants playing this "unrealesed" game...(Super MArio 3..lol")....i remeber one of the characters playing Rad Racer witht he power glove..he took it out of this padded suitcase..lol....someone must know what I am talkin about..help me here!!!! :o Title: Re: Re-United with one of my gamming roots Post by: Bondo on March 01, 2002, 11:21:28 pm Dest, your use of punctuation is mindboggling. Anyway where to start...The movie you refer to is The Wizard with Fred Savage. He goes to the video game tournement, breaks out the Power Glove and is the high point scorer on Mario 3...The reason for my double post is that one was a reply with quote from before. Then a few days later I had a new point. If I just modify my old post to make it a single post, nobody would know I changed it. Double posting is when you make two seperate posts right in a row. My posting doesn't count as a double post because there was a long while between (over a day). Now get off my back Ass.
