Well zak can't touch this here, so that's why it's not in the Battle League thread.

I think zak should be removed as a Battle League admin. He is just another Romulus. He does a piss poor job at updating the Battle League. (See the recent problems with MIB.) Not only that, but that little bitch goes and deletes posts from people he does not like, such as Ult or me, if they give him any criticism.

Mauti, please drop this worthless, immature admin before he can cause anymore problems.

He is not like me. He is a bit better - He is a *DAMN. Yes, deleting posts is not okay, and I learned. Zak did the right thing to re-add MIB, and Ultimo and Assassin should never have deleted MIB, especialy since there was no proof that MIB did anything wrong.

Mauti, leave Zak as an Admin, he did nothing wrong. He did the right, honest thing to do.

I agree that zak didn't do anything seriously wrong (as in like something you would do Rom), but I would say that zak has been stiring thing up too much over there and the BL forums are not really the place for stupid asinine conversations, that is what we are here for.  While he hasn't really harmed the BL, his presence has caused some problems.  Considering we already have DAMN power in the BL ranks with Elandrion (meaning almighty power), zak isn't really a necessary component there.  Either way, I've messaged Mauti about it to give him a non-judgemental view of possible infractions by all of the BL moderators and will let him decide what should happen.

There are a few reasons for deleting a post or a thread.... but only a few.  Personal attacts are not one of them (or I'd be deleting a bunch of posts here !).

So, withouth knowing what  was exactly deleted, I'd just say this... Zak, if you take offense to something someone wrote, don't delete it, refute it.  Deleting it just makes you look like a dumbass (you don't want to be compared to Romulus after all...).  If you deleted something because it was just off topic for the BL... just move it here next time.. don't delete it.  If you deleted somthing because it was porn, or just flat out offensive (like some nazi comments in the past) then fine.  

But remeber, when Rom was kicked from the Battle League, part of it was for deleting the posts against him (aka.. abusing his power).

Mauti, seems like there is a bunch of friction within the Battle League of late... I do think it's time for your intervention...

Seeing as how 2 or 3 of Ace's posts were deleted by Zak.. hmm.. I think we have a problem here.

Actually more than 2 posts were deleted...Ace posted multiple times in the "Challange to Ultimo" thread (challenge intentionally spelled wrong to reflect zak's title). I assume zak was the culprit in the deletion of that entire thread because he went on a deletion rampage before it happened.

As for Romulus, do you really think anyone gives a flying fuck about what you think regarding issues with the battle league? hah

As a Battle League moderator/admin, I must say that zak has done nothing damaging to the Battle League itself (he has actually been a positive aspect with the frequent updates) but all of this controversy arises from his power as a thread moderator.

A fair compromise in my eyes would be to strip him of moderation powers but continue to allow him to be an Admin until he gets in everyone's good graces again. Once that happens, he can has his moderation powers back...just a thought

here i orignaly blamed this on ultimo, and it wasn't his fault, i enjoyed working with you while it lasted

and finaly, Mauti when i emaild you and said it was unconnected that i left damn, not entirely true, the reason i gave you was the main reason, this just pushed me over the limit, how something so miniscule, would get such a reaction, and if i was a discrase enough to get kicked off as an admin, i don't belong in *DAMN

I hate to break it to you zak, but he did not truly remove you as an admin, he merely suspended you until he can figure out what was going on. I assume he received numerous emails complaining so he took a preliminary step and suspended your account until he has time to investigate.

If you werent so abrupt to quit *DAMN and what not, I would have likened your situation to administrative leave.

To give you an example, whenever a police officer shoots someone, they are put on administrative leave until the proper people can investigate the matter...it doesnt mean that they are guilty of anything.

Oh well, he claims that he wont read this, but I know he will...

Zak's suspension followed by his resignation are only the fault of Zak...   it's not about the bitching of anyone.  

Zak made a mistake (he deleted some posts).  It's not a huge mistake, but it's a mistake.  Then things spun, tempers flared (including Zak's) and shit happened.

Well it seems that since I played a fair part in this, and thus must somehow be complicit to the ensuing bitching, I should probably respond.

Zak abused his power plain and simple. Yes, I do not like him (These unending false accusations about me deleting his posts get annoying), but that is regardless. I was not the only one who had to deal with his crap. He is possibly the biggest hypocrite I know.

Yes, I bitched about this. But guess what? IT DOESN'T MATTER. This is the General Gossip forums last time I checked. This is an area where you are free to raise pretty much any issue you wish. I had a problem with zak, so I brought it up here. There have certainly been threads attempting to flame me before, but I didn't go apeshit and delete them. Get over it.

Guys, please dont mind Pyrex.  If you know him from GameRanger, which I do, you would know that his posts so far have not been a good repersentation of how he usually is.  I know Pyrex pretty damn well on GameRanger, and even I am suprised say that he has done a pretty good job of making an ass of himself on the forum (no offense Pyrex).  I know I cant MAKE you like him, but if you give him another chance and show him some newfound respect, Im pretty sure you will get respect in return.  :)
