Title: Help Please, Hard Drive Issue Post by: The Golden Shark on August 14, 2003, 03:13:50 am my computer has been asking me for awhile to update the driver, it says that it should improve its life span. It also says in big bold letters :

They give you that warning because there is a small chance that your hard drive will shit itself.
I've done it on two computers, both came out just fine. The "back up your software" is just a big CYA for them whenever you are doing something like this. |
