*DAMN R6 Forum

Don't post in the forums unless you have posted at least 200 messages. If you try to post with only 12 total posts, non of the forum regulars will take you seriously, I say this because i see noobs getting disrespected left and right on here, and it seems like the only real respect goes to the people who have wasted days on this stupid forum. ?I'm no noob on gameranger, or RS, infact, i'd say i play more, and am online more than most of the admins and moderators on damn. ?This will be one of my last posts on this forum, cause i'm fed up with the bs.
To all you "vets" of the forums who are on power trips, listen to the noobs, they might not get things at first, but their opinions can be and probly are as valid as your own.

by the way, u call those guys vet although u think they never play RS,but u forget that some of those still play R6 or play a while ago, and they did it evry day and for some yaers, so stop bitching on ppl u dont know how they are and howlong they play. U also should see that they maybe  play on other day time, when ure offline. But yes, I'd say my 18 months of playing R6 qualify me as a vet despite my complete retirement from that series of games to play RtoCW.

If all you people are retired, from RS, why the fuck do you still post on these forums? also, it only took 6 posts for me to understand that the only opinions that are seen as "valid viewpoints" are those of the people who have posted more than 100 times.

So how is that valid, i see people who retired from rogue spear, who don't play online, but still post in the forums about some game they have lost touch with.

Another thing, even people with posts over 100 aren't respected.. take Romulus and Grifter for example..

Besides, over half of the threads aren't about RS or R6..

Grifter and I still play RS and Ace definitely earned his place among the RS greats with his mad tking skills.

So, please.. don't just take the flaming of a few dumbasses as a sign of general unfriendlyness in this forum. If you have something good to say, good, if not.. well then, you are open to criticism.

Just some friendly advice. And of course no one is perfect, so this logic doesn't work 100% of the time.

Ok, since when am I always talking about how great I am, or at least more than any of the rest of you.  I make an effort to say how much I suck at RS, but I don't recall making that effort to say I'm good at R6.  Sure, I've said that I was good at R6, but who is denying that I was good (not great or the best) I also say I'm good at RtoCW which I am current at, but I've only said that where it was part of the thread.  I think it was a little harsh to single me out as someone who always says he is good.

Second, I'll just assume putting Grifter in there with Rom was a joke.

Third, jeb, the reason I still hang out here is because it is a good place to talk with other Mac gamers who I became friends with while I was still active.  I didn't think that because I stopped playing I had to stop talking to everyone.

Ok for my real post now, it isn't really all about post count, when I had 20 posts way back in August, I was still highly respected, but that is because I earned that in GR, if no one knows you well enough to give you that respect either through GR or the Forums, you can't expect it to be given to you free of effort.

Ace, it is somewhat hard to back-up claims of talent in R6 when nobody plays anymore, I keep trying to play but the games are few and far between.  Back a year ago though, I was good playing with people from SAC, SBR, and SiX mainly and not being any worse off then them.  I don't think you should be claiming that I don't live up to my talk as I've played you like 10 games and killed you a few of them.  So while I am arrogant, it isn't like I'm all talk like you seem to want to believe.  Ask Bander and Mauti how I was when I joined them, playing them very close on Euro servers and many of you have said Mauti is one of the best Euro players ever.

I actually work better as the streight man (pointing out the blatenly obvious so someon else can go for the kill... for those of you that don't know what that means and are thinking in their own homoerotic images).  Ace and Blackie are much better at the direct mock then me.  But with their lack of participation (I'm assuming that Ace found a whole flock of sheep out there to entertain him)... the burdon of being the resident ass protem has fallen to me.  So either the real resident ass needs to make his presence felt, or someone else should start filling the shoes.

The funny thing about that MacMan, Ace actually used to make note of my spelling mistakes... I think he found the first one around post 225 or so...  The most disturbing thing about it is that I'm a horrible speller (in my mind), yet, to be here makes me think I actually have the hang of it.

thing i dont get about people who make a lot of spelling mistakes, if you KNOW you make em, it should be possible to be alert for the mistakes, grab a dictionary, and correct yourself before you post (even better, type).

Two, you've always gotten along just fine on GR with the likes of Wrathy and me.... and here we are, both over 500 posts and moderators here.  If you have a beef with someone, then take it up with them... don't be a dick to everyone here.

Three, you don't play on GR more then half of us... you idle on GR more then us.  There is a difference.  I can't remember how long it's been since I've seen you in a "playing" game.... just in your idle game rooms.

Grifter, i certainly don't hate you, and i was trying to ilustrate my anger in the people who don't play rs online, and then come here and talk trash to the people who play online everyday, and only post on the forums every once and a while. Mainly i was trying to point out how alot of the trash talkers, i've never seen play online (and i play at all hours of the day).

Jeb, I don't recal saying you weren't respected on GR.  Basically, only people who were playing 9 months ago and farther back are able to get respect from me on GR as I don't get on much, but that isn't to say no one can be respected on GR.

Just saying that when you shoot off a shotgun in a crowded room, you are going to hit everyone (friends and enemies).  So, commenting on the lack of lives everyone over 200 posts here (to put it mildly) also was flamming people that you have never heard from, and people like Wrath and myself.  And also you must remember this isn't a RS forum... it was an R6 forum first... we RS'ers have just taken up roost and cause a lot of trouble.  So, you may not recognize everyone here.

If you really want to make a point around here... don't be general, be specific.  Calling someone a dumbass is easy, proving it is where you get listened to.  Just some friendly advise man.
