I have seen CB's posted for this clan, and I do see them on the ladder... but where are they??  I've searched by tag and I fail to locate any members.  I see that they just had CB's in the past few days, but I can't even find them by searching for their names.  I wasn't sure if they were still active or not.  If anyone can help me with this info I would greatly appreciate it.

SoM is ranked 23 in the GhR ladder. So they r there.... just look. 8)

They are online, but I think there is only 2 or 3 of them at the most.  It seems that SoM plays mainly clans they have some sort of affiliation with.  Like they lost 4 times to -SW-.  Go figure since those are the only cb's -SW- has played this whole season.  But when it comes to SoM I rarely see them online at all.
     well there can be only 2 reasons for why they connot be found.  One is that they only wear their tag when they are looking for a cb.  And 2 is that they have disbanded and not informed anyone.  Ah well.  who knows.

Or 3.),

     SoM could be a sham paper tiger clan invented for the sole purpose of giving easy wins and good records to the real clan which created it and beats it systematically.  I am not claiming this to be the case, just claiming that it IS a posibility.

 I thought this when I saw SW posting all those wins. Why do you do 3 rematches against a clan that kicks your ass every time? Why do you only CB SW? This looks to me, like some SW guys getting points for their clan.  

We [blr] cb SoM in a 2v2 and i dont know who the hell they r all i know is that we beat them and they r on the ladder. so they have cbed nore then just one clan. :P

Yeah cuz you're probably in on it too lol.  4 easy wins for BLR too lol.  I wonder how many real clans are sharing this bitch clan for the 4 wins it guarantees them,

Well, I am pleased to see that my post was responded to in such a quick fashion.  My only intention of this post was to find out who was in this clan, or if it was even a clan at all anymore.  I'm am displeased however to see some of the accusations, but I suppose these accusations have some merit.  It makes more sense that they may be putting the tag on only when they are going to CB, but since their names cannont be found without the tag, they are most likely changing their names as well.  This is of course only the case if they are truly a clan and hiding for some reason.  The only merit of the accusations is not the way in which SoM was accused, or the way in which -SW- was associated with this accusation, but in the fact that neither clan has responded in any way, shape, or form, and not even in their own defense with an accusation of this proportion.  I would hope that the leaders or overseers of these two groups would say something, even if it was in a gameranger chat room or private message.  Since the rules do state the leaders of a clan must read the forums to stay up-to-date, I would think that the lack of a response to this (hopefully) last post would confirm some tomfoolery , a tad bit of shananagins, and a pinch of ballyhoo on the part of SoM and/or -SW-.

The "best of how many 'issue come into play here too.

Of the cb's with SW...they are all 5-0 or 5-1.

If it were a best of 7 they would stop at 4. If it were a best of 10 they would stop at 6.

So, thats odd for sure.

I have jokingly said "we should make up clans and beat them!"

Wouldnt be surprised, but they have cb'd other clans if you check the matchlist.

ok ima straighten this out, the following members were in SoM_, Ikeadan, Habbi, De Orac, Styles

these were the only members, they cbed i know they did, i wasnt in any of the games but ya, SoM_ has died, -SW- recuired ike and styles rite a few days after our last game,

this clan is dead now, and the match that are planted towards it are true, oz blr and -sw- all those matchs were real, but for now , any matches posted after their loss to us is false, som died a few hours they faced us, they were stubburn, i blame de orac, but he was just shooting for another win, i guess he got tired of it and quit.

When we [one] welcomed Aramarth and sevreral Line players, we couldve done a lousy thing and cb'd to four straight victories before Line folded...
But we didn't...

I know SoM de orace used to host a game now and then, havent seen him lately, i think hes legit, maybe its a clan from another game, with a few GHR players who wanna cb?

Oh sorry, didnt see smokies explanation, i think from now on, when a clan dies, they should report it to the BL and a post should be put up anouncing their demise. Not only would this allow people to know what s going on, but it will also allow recruiting clans to pick up the stragglers.  :o
