Title: Here's a scenerio... Post by: BTs_eight on May 21, 2003, 09:01:14 pm I haven't seen this in the middle of a CB... But bare with me because it might just happened... I have seen in on Public Servers...
Ok you know when your playing GhR... And someone crashes out... They have no ping... When your in the middle of a game... and someone just leaves due to a crash have u noticed that sometimes they just keep running towards the wall.... STILL using their name.... What if this were to happend in a cb? Lets make the scenerio... Your playing the game... The guy crashes... Lets just say that guy don't have a mic for shits an giggles... so you have no clue what the hell he is doing... You ask for an abort... the other team denies yor request... Then the other team finds and kills your crashed guy... (lets say the crashed guy was laying there motionless instead of running into the wall) Then after that guy is dead it then shows the delayed leave of that player... Only to have him come back to the game not having a clue as to what happened... So does the other team win? Is that fair? Just curious... This post has nothing do with anything in the past... Title: Re:Here's a scenerio... Post by: Ledorax on May 21, 2003, 09:14:00 pm You could save the game reply and take some screenshots while he is running into a wall... Then you can prove that it shall not count as the other team won :D

.... Title: Re:Here's a scenerio... Post by: .::|N|SOC on May 21, 2003, 09:28:10 pm 8- obviously this has some relationship to previous events.....
imho... when the crashed dude rejoins, and describes what happened...you give him the benefit of the doubt in most cases. if it happens a second time...it's his tough luck I guess. At least that's what current 'case law' leads me to believe. for better or worse, it seems that if his teamates finish the game, it will count. not sure what a better solution would be... Title: Re:Here's a scenerio... Post by: Ledorax on May 21, 2003, 09:44:15 pm You could tell them that one of your teammates have crashed...
Title: Re:Here's a scenerio... Post by: Ledorax on May 21, 2003, 09:45:24 pm BAD IDEA dont care about it >:( then you could just say one have crashed if you are like 2 vs 5 left
