Gameranger can auto ban people for: Chat Flooding, Typing in Caps. Game flooding etc. However it doesn't permainate ban. With Scott not around the only thing that you really can't do is ask for pirated software, For any other bans we have to get Scott's OK, however for pirating we can just ban you.

I've seen him ban people just for mentioning Hotline, posting that they have a server, or asking for a good one... his excuse, Hotline is just a bunch of warez. Well, there is a bunch... but not 100%.
Well, as anyone can see we used a "hotline" like program to play when Hotline was down.. and I'd dare say that nobody downloaded any warez from my server this weekend. I've also seen guys just say Hotline and get banned. I also saw Evill say that if you used Hotline you were a pirate (not a direct quote) when talking to someone that didn't think the ban was fair. While you are spending that hour D/L'ing it, go to Amazon.com or any of the other places you can order it online.. and ORDER IT. That way, it comes in the mail in a few days, and you are all nice and legal like while supporting the guys that went to the trouble to write that game for you and the publishers that bothered to port it over to the Mac for you. This also works in my Universe as Shareware model, since if I don't like the game by the time it arrives, I can send it back unopened for credit or refund (check the return policy of who you order it through first).
