Ok,
Got RTWC yesterday and it plays well in single player, but I need one of you freaks to pick it up so we can try out the multiplayer.  

It's very smoth and good graphics (on the dual 1ghz, i'll try on the iBook later).

Best news of all is that it runs in OS X... so as soon as Evill is done with GR X, no more classic for me!  (ok, still for some RS, but I can dream, can't I?)

You got the demo, or the full.  If you got the demo for MP, ill play yea.  Just need to know were to get it and stuff.

I have RTCW on my 867g4, and my powerbook, It runs way better on the 867g4 becacuse of the graphics card, Laptops have a Striped down version of the Radion card, RTCW works better on a Navidia - Geforce.

I have the full version.  I haven't played the Demo (tried it once, couldn't connect to anyone... kept hanging... bah.)  

I have a dual 1ghz that I've been playing it on so far... and it just rocks on that system.  I'll be trying the iBook tomorrow or so, when I'm bored and want to play around with it some.

Now go out and buy it you lazy bums... I need to try the multiplayer!!!

Grifter: You and I can try it out together, however from playing it in the past I know that for it to get good you have to have at least 6 people.

Yeah, I just also recieved my copy of RtCW a few days ago Grifter. Shall we have a rumble on GR some time? You host a 64 player game maybe? =)

64 player games... .wow... I may actually have found a use for all this bandwidth / computing power I have here...

Joking aside... outside of a lan party with some good 100bt or gigabit switches, I doubt I'll see a 64 player game.  I just can't see getting a game like that over the internet.  But I could be wrong... let's try it and find out.

I find RTCW to be a slow goign game. It's not a game i could ever even imagine of playing from start to finish in a day. It's soooo borign at some parts.

But it is a good game.

i have seen other ppl play the game, and frankly, some of the missions dont make much sense

also, why do the secret areas almost always have a shitload of goodies in them?
they obviously arent secret to the germans...

Well, my copy is in the mail so I'll have it by next weekend to kick your ass in it Grift (finally a new game that I can play  ;)).  Anyway, RtoCW was the reason I stopped playing R6 and the reason I switched to OS X to begin with so now that I have the full version I can maybe actually lose my desire to play R6 completely.

Bondo, please don't tell me you're running RToCW on your 400Mhz Mac... bah!

What is the deal, I run the demo on my 400MHz Mac with highest res and highest detail without a problem.  Is the main version of the game that much more complicated that my computer can't handle it?  Remember though that I have 380 MB of memory and a Geforce 3.  Either way, I won't feel too bad if I have to drop the visual quality to maintain performance, but I just can't imagine that it won't run well on my computer.

Great, but remember I only have an 8mb ATI RADEON card and 128mb RAM of memory. But that's all gonna change soon. I might be getting a new computer. I might, yes... bah!
